Braylin Presley Commits To Oklahoma State

Oklahoma State landed a commitment from the state’s most electric player on Wednesday evening. Bixby running back Braylin Presley Braylin Presley 5'9" | RB Bixby | 2022 State OK announced that he was committing to the Cowboys at a team event at the high school. Presley was our 2020 Prep Redzone Oklahoma Player Of The Year after an unbelievable junior season, helping lead the Spartans to a third straight state championship.
“I’m happy to make my decision and get it over with,” Presley said at the team event. “Now I can focus on my senior season and go after another state championship.”
Presley and the Spartans have won the last three and six of the last seven state championships. However, Presley and the Bixby senior class understand that they have a shot at history this fall. As dominant as the Spartans have been, they haven’t had a senior class that has won four straight titles, which doesn’t happen very often in state history. They also have a shot at a lofty record. They’ll go into the 2021 season with 36 consecutive wins. Another 13-0 season would put Bixby at 49, breaking Wagoner’s state record for most consecutive wins, which currently stands at 48.
Presley was not only Bixby’s leading rusher in 2021 but he also led the Spartans in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns. He also returned a couple punts for touchdowns as well. All of that versatility led to Presley running away with the Player Of The Year award. Not only did he put up monster numbers, but some of his best games were against Bixby’s toughest competition. Six touchdowns against Carl Albert. Over 400 total yards against Booker T Washington in a nationally televised game. Over 500 total yards combined in back to back weeks against Union and Jenks. Catching what would be the game-winning touchdown as a sophomore in the 2019 title game. And of course running for over 200 yards in the 2020 state championship game against Choctaw. Presley is not only the state’s most electric player, you can make the argument that he’s the state’s most clutch player.
Presley is the eighth prospect in Oklahoma’s 2022 class to give a verbal commitment. He also joins a very OSU-heavy class as he’s the fourth commitment to the Cowboys. He joins Beggs running back CJ Brown CJ Brown 6'1" | RB Beggs | 2022 State OK , Pawhuska wide receiver Mason Gilkey Mason Gilkey 6'3" | WR Pawhuska | 2022 State OK and Stillwater linebacker Gabe M Brown Gabe M Brown 6'2" | LB Stillwater | 2022 State OK as pledges to the Cowboys. It’s been well noted that OSU did a very good job with the state’s 2021 class and it’s very clear they are off to a great start with the 2022 class.
