suit up with the C4 squad for a 7v7 tournament. Faber is a prospect that isn’t going to be as impressive as others in a 7v7 setting. The reason is simple. It’s 7v7 and at the root, it’s touch football. Faber is a heat-seeking missile and is one of the hardest hitters in the 2022 class. So when you take away the physical part of football, which is hitting, you take away one of the biggest strengths that Faber has in his game. However, we’re still able to evaluate other elements of Faber’s game and let’s make something clear. He’s still an outstanding linebacker prospect even when you take away the hitting. Faber is getting better and better at identifying what the opposing offense is doing and vocalizing that to his teammates. And it should go without saying, but because of the 7v7 element, every time Faber steps on the field, he’s getting better at defending the pass. We’re just looking forward to Faber putting the pads back on.

has been playing with Sooner 7 throughout this offseason. However, while he’s known for being QB1 at Coweta, he’s been playing safety and defensive back for Sooner 7. He hasn’t been bad at it either. Which isn’t that surprising considering Hamm’s physical size and athleticism. And on the plus side, his experience this offseason gives Coweta even more depth on the defensive side of the ball if they need Hamm to play on both sides. But this weekend, we finally got a look at Hamm playing what could be his most natural position at quarterback. Victory Christian quarterback

was lights out this weekend and it wouldn’t be surprising if that continued this fall on Friday night’s. Frakes was featured as one of Jake Johnson’s Top Performers from this weekend and Hack was on the other end of a lot his throws, especially the deep throws down the field. Hack has been one of the more consistent wide receivers for Sooner 7 this offseason and continues to be one of their best threats down the field. Hack has good size and very reliable hands to make big play after big play. It seemed like Hack was at his best when he was running deep routes and making play after play on jump balls. Hack has had an outstanding offseason and should be considered a wide receiver on the rise. Again, the combination of Frakes and Hack should provide Norman North’s offense with a spark this fall.

up close and personal. The first was at the USNFT Combine in Frisco and we saw him again playing well with C4’s Oklahoma squad on Saturday. Before the combine in Frisco, we didn’t know much about Hatton and hadn’t gotten a chance to really evaluate the big man from Edmond. However, after watching him in Texas and then running with C4 during the 7v7 tournament, we’ve come away impressed with Hatton. He has excellent size at 6’5 and right from the start gives whoever his quarterback is a big window to throw the ball. He moves really well for his size and showed skill at running a variety of routes during the combine and the tournament. The 2022 class is deep at the wide receiver and tight end position but Hatton should certainly be considered as a sleeper with a high ceiling. Hatton is certainly a prospect on the rise within the 2022 class.
