has been a player that we’ve taken notice of over the last few months as he’s been playing some good football with one of Sooner 7’s younger teams. The Broken Arrow freshman was lights out on the defensive side of the ball for Sooner 7 when they made the trip down to Durant and was one of the biggest reasons they made a deep run once bracket play began. The offense was at times inconsistent but the defense picked things up and kept them in games until the offense was firing on all cylinders. Ferrell is a player that we have circled as a potential breakout player once the pads come on this fall.
J"Kharri Thomas – Running Back – Owasso
(Played With 918 Elite)
918 Elite was playing this weekend shorthanded and it didn’t matter as they had a very good tournament run. We already mentioned their best player from the weekend in

from one of our top performers posts. Boyd helped carry 918 Elite to a strong performance. However, one of the more consistent players, in addition to Boyd was Owasso running back J"Kharri Thomas. He was outstanding on offense and even made plays on defense to have a complete performance on Saturday. Out of the four prospects on this list, Thomas is the most undersized but it doesn’t seem to matter as he was making play after play.

to our prospect database, we have him listed as an athlete. For this post, we have him as a wide receiver after the weekend he had in Durant. McGee was right there with Coweta’s Cam Dooley as the most reliable pass catchers for Sooner 7’s 15U team. McGee was outstanding off the line, blowing by his defender time after time. He would also be able to go up and get a jump ball if he needed to. What was really impressive is how McGee would make plays despite dealing with contact from an opposing DB. It didn’t matter as McGee would come down with the ball more times than not.

up close and personal. The first was last week in Frisco when he participated in the USNFT Combine. Then he played with Hustle Inc 405 in the 15U division of the C4 7v7 tournament. Prater is the perfect example of why we love covering these events. Before the combine in Frisco, we hadn’t heard of Prater. And after seeing him up close for the last two weeks, we have no doubt that he has a high ceiling of what he could be at the receiver position for Norman. Prater is a consistent receiver with very reliable hands and solid route running for his age.
