Prep Redzone New Jersey brings you the names of the defensive backs that you need to know in the 2023 class. Prep Redzone New Jersey will release its Class of 2023 running back rankings in May.

Adon Shuler/Safety/6-1/190/Irvington

Shuler is getting recruited as an athlete by several Power 5 schools including Boston College, Cincinnati, Florida, Maryland, and Nebraska. I think he has a higher ceiling as a defensive back at the collegiate level.

Caidan Holmes/Cornerback/5-11/160/Sayreville

Holmes was good for 56 total tackles (16 solo) during the 2020 season.

Chris Jun/6-0/175/Wayne Valley

Jun finished with 43 total tackles (28 solo) last season. He also blocked both a punt and field goal.

CJ Flannigan/Safety/Ocean Township

Flannigan finished with 43 total tackles (15 solo) during his sophomore year season.

Dyaire Talbert/Safety/5-10/171/Collingswood

Talbert racked up 34 total tackles (16 solo) in the six games he played in last season.

Eddie Lopez/Safety/5-11/Collingswood

Lopez had a decent sophomore year. He accounted for 29 tackles (22 solo) and one interception in seven games last season.

Ethan Krauss/Safety/6-0/Shawnee

Krauss made 39 total tackles (20 solos) during the 2020 season.

Gavin Bunt/Cornerback/6-1/205/Audubon

We might have to re-list Bunt as an athlete. He made 44 total tackles (14 solo) and
