College football programs can’t recruit enough guys who can find the end zone.

Prep Redzone Kansas recently updated the player rankings for the Class of 2023.

Here is a look at five players from that class who found the end zone frequently in their sophomore seasons.

RB, Dylan Edwards Dylan Edwards 5'9" | RB Derby | 2023 State KS , 6’2”, 200, Derby – Edwards, just a sophomore, is a star in the making. He is a shifty runner who is fast as all get-out. He rushed for 25 touchdowns in 2020. He is the No. 1 ranked player in the 2023 Prep Redzone Kansas player rankings. Derby has won three straight 6A state titles. Edwards and the Panthers hope to make it four in a row in 2021.

RB, Jaytin Gumm Jaytin Gumm RB McPherson | 2023 State KS , 6’0”, 175, McPherson – Gumm scored 14 touchdowns for McPherson in 2020. All but one of those end zone dances came on the ground. He is a quick running back who is tough to tackle. He rushed for 1,300-plus yards and added nine receptions. He is ranked No. 18 in the updated rankings.

RB, L.J. Phillips, 5’8”, 176, Wichita Northwest – Phillips scored 14 total touchdowns for the loaded Wichita Northwest offense in 2020. He
