Look for Daniel to be a huge piece as George Washington finishes the regular season and looks to make a playoff run for the first time in a few years.
Avery Shunneson Avery Shunneson 6'1" | LB Thomas Jefferson | 2021 State CO , Sr. RB
Thomas Jefferson is off to a hot start this season sitting at 4-0. The team has not thrown the ball through the air very often relying heavily on the ground game. This ground game is lead by their Senior running back. Avery has carried the ball 46 times for 354 yards, both numbers leading the team. He has carried the ball for 6 touchdowns in just four games. he is carrying the ball at an average of 7.7 yards per carry proving to be a tough tackle for opposing teams.
Kenny Saiz, Jr. RB
Kenny has carried the ball 34 times for 174 yards. He is carrying the ball for 5.1 yards per carry and he is responsible 3 touchdowns. Denver North has had a slow start to the season sitting at 1-4. Their season comes to an end this Friday against another rival. Look for them to rely on the feet of Saiz and teammate Rickie Burg. Denver North is using the Junior a lot of offense hoping to get him ready for a strong Senior campaign this fall.
Isaac Sisneros Isaac Sisneros 5'8" | 150 lbs | QB Kennedy | 2023 State CO , So. QB
Isaac has helped lead Kennedy to a 3-2 start to the season. He is a young quarterback who utilizes his arm and legs. In five games Isaac has carried the ball 27 times for 172 yards. He has accounted for one rushing touchdown and eight total. Sisneros has carried the ball at a 6.4 yards per carry average and has been the teams leading rusher and passer making him a focus for opposing defenses. Kennedy has to be very excited that their top offensive player is just a Sophomore. As a young quarterback, Isaac has already proven he is ready to lead the team in over the next couple seasons.
Coleman Teasdale, Jr. QB
Coleman has accounted for a ton of carries as a quarterback in just five games for Centaurus. Teasdale has carried the ball 64 times for 384 yards. Coleman has also accounted for five rushing touchdowns and six in total. He is the teams leading passer and rusher showing that he is a dual-threat opposing defenses need to be aware of.
