The stadium and facilities were impressive at the star academy in Dallas. Which is located right next to the Ford field, where the Dallas Cowboys practice facilities are. But even more impressive were the linemen who were in attendance. We had some linemen put on a clinic and show that they could put some guys in the dirt or beat them 1 on 1. Here are some linemen whose recruiting is on the rise.
Enyce Sledge | 6-4, 305 | DT / OL | Neville HS (LA)
Sledge is a big lineman, that looks even bigger in person. Almost at 6-5, 305 pounds. Sledge can move well for his size and performed well in all of the cone drills we had coaches run him through and ran a 5.44 40 yard dash. He has a long wingspan, a thick build, and a lot of muscle. This guy usually plays defensive line and can move the pile and get into the backfield quickly. He performed just as well at the offensive line position on Saturday. Showing strength, smooth footwork, and a good base. His technique could use a little improvement but all of the intangibles are there for this athlete. Just picked a few offers since we last featured him. Nicholls State and McNeese are the latest to offer Sledge.
@the_Realenyce big guy moves well for being a 6-4 300 plus pounder. @PrepRedzoneTX @HT4_PrepRZ @Lemmingscouting @LoganTillman @PrepRedzone pic.twitter.com/8EvEhWUsfd

Sully Burns | 6-7, 319 | OT | Plano Senior HS (TX)
Sully is a large athletic-looking lineman who stands at an eye-popping 6-7 and moves very well for his size. He ran one of the fastest 40 yard dash times as an offensive lineman above 6-4 at 5.13 40 yard dash. He was one of the best offensive linemen at the showcase from a technique standpoint. Just really turning a lot of heads with his size, physical nature, he just had that fierce competitor look in his eye like I’m fixing to put you in the dirt type deal. And boy did he deliver.
Austin Lopez Austin Lopez 6'3" | 265 lbs | OL Allen | 2022 State TX | 6-4, 260 | OG / OT | Allen HS (TX)
Austin looked like a very athletic lineman. The type you like to see in these fast past hurry-up offenses nowadays. Definitely, a guy that can get out in space and block. He can move the pile. He was impressive at the tournament, he won a few battles putting guys in the dirt. He did get beat a couple of times. The technique could use improvement. But he’s definitely an FBS/FCS caliber athlete. Great kid, a good character and I could even see him playing tight end at the next level if he has the hands. He’s got the speed and athleticism.
Kyle Lofye | 6-4, 295 | OG / OT | Frisco Lone Star (TX)
Kyle looked solid at the showcase. The best way I could compare him is to a Richie Incognito or David DeCastro type of guard. The one that can pull a bunch, kick out the end and get out in space for backs to take runs to the house. Kyle has the speed, athleticism, and strength to special at the next level. His footwork and technique were very impressive. He receives some pretty good coaching at Frisco Lone Star.
Cole Strickland | 6-0, 235 | DL / DE | Allen HS (TX)
Cole was the coach’s pick of the tournament. He is very undersized for the interior linemen position. I could see him playing more of an edge rusher/linebacker playing on a 3-4 defense. I think he could stand up, or put his hand in the ground and make some TFLs in the backfield. I liked his competitiveness and his strength, size, and ability to get into the backfield and beat blockers.
Chance Jackson | 6-1, 280 | OG / OT | The Woodlands (TX)
Chance was very sound technique-wise and was able to put on an impressive outing in Dallas. He showed good athleticism and speed. Strength in his punches and a low center of gravity gave him the edge over most defenders.
Canyon Wadsworth | 6-4, 304 | OG / OT
Very impressed with Canyon. Impressive size and strength for this guy. Defiantly a force to be reckoned with on that offensive line. His pass protection showed beautiful technique and footwork relative to the offensive guard position. At the next level, I could see him playing offensive guard or center and being a good addition to any locker room. Good character kid and gets it done in the classroom as well.
