Cadon Clark Cadon Clark 5'11" | 175 lbs | ATH Arkansas City | 2023 State KS is the 4th ranked WR and the 33rd ranked player overall in the class of 2023. He had a great sophomore season in 2020 as he caught 74 passes for 638 yards and scored a TD. He plays primarily in the slot. He is a good route runner who shows good hip fluidity as he breaks off his stem at a 90 degree angle on out routes, displays good hands as he can make the catch on passes that are thrown on target with ease and uses his quickness and agility to elude DB and LB after the catch. In addition to his stellar play as a WR, he also excels as a DB where he is responsible for covering the #2 WR in the slot.

Aidan Wing Aidan Wing 6'4" | 195 lbs | ATH Bishop Miege | 2023 State KS is the 5th ranked DB and the 40th ranked player overall in the class of 2023. He plays primarily as a FS. Against the pass, he displays very good range and closing speed as he tracks the ball in the air while in cover 3, is able to put himself in position and uses his height and good hands to catch the ball at its highest point and come down with an interception. Against the run, he uses his very good football intelligence to key and diagnose the play quickly, doesn’t get fooled on option runs while displaying his very good play speed as well as his very good athletic ability in pursuit with good play strength and form tackling ability as he is able to bring down athletic ball carriers with force.

Eric Erbe Eric Erbe 6'2" | 190 lbs | QB Chanute | 2023 State KS is the 9th ranked QB and the 58th ranked player overall in the class of 2023. During his Sophomore season in 2020, he completed 6 of 13 passes for 84 yards and a TD. When pressured, he shows the ability to elude DE with ease while keeping his eyes downfield as he scrambles to the outside and displays very good spot on accuracy on deep passes while delivering the ball off-balanced for a TD. He displays very good quickness and athletic ability to get to the outside and turn the corner on a QB option and is able to pick up the first down with ease.

Octavius Lyles Octavius Lyles 5'8" | 160 lbs | RB Eudora | 2023 State KS is the 17th ranked RB and the 90th ranked player in the class of 2023 overall. In 2020, he rushed for 164 yards on 45 carries and scored 3 TD while catching a pass for 42 yards. He shows very good vision on option runs as he finds the open hole with ease. He then accelerates to top speed quickly showing great burst through the hole, runs behind his pads and shows very good heart, power and contact balance as he runs through larger DB as he falls forward for a few extra yards.

Braylon Chattam Braylon Chattam 5'11" | 225 lbs | TE Winfield | 2023 State KS is the 6th ranked TE and the 117th ranked player in the class of 2023 overall. He plays in tight on the line of scrimmage as a “Y” and is used primarily as a blocker. When run blocking, he shows very good quickness off the ball as he quickly gets his hat across the face of the 5T on base blocks, plays with good leverage and is able to win battles with his hands inside as he negates the progress of the defender with his good play strength and physical toughness. When pass blocking, he takes a vertical set, keeps his feet constantly moving while keeping a good base and pad level. He then delivers a powerful hand punch to the frame of the 7T as he sinks his hips and anchors effectively keeping the QB clean. In instances where he is asked to go out for a pass, he uses his good football intelligence to read the coverage as he breaks off his stem at a 45 degree angle on a slant route, possesses good hands as he can make the catch with his hands on passes that are thrown on target and shows good contact balance and power as he drags the DB for a few yards as he picks up a first down.
