The saying, "it all starts up front," is a valid statement. Having a strong offensive line is crucial to teams, and can make the difference between winning and losing.  There has been a lot of talent up front in the state of Oregon. In this piece, we will be taking a look at the linemen who have shown their power and grit in the trenches. Here are 5 of the top guys.

Austin Leykam Austin Leykam 6'2" | OL Lake Oswego | 2022 State OR , C, 6’2" 265lbs, JR, Lake Oswego High School

Leykam is a big force for Lake Oswego High. Playing center, Leykam is a strong piece in the middle, moving his defensive opponent in forceful ways. He is quick with his run blocking, slamming into the facemask of whoever is lined up against him with speed. He also has great pass blocking, keeping his ground on the line. Austin also has a solid snap hand and very accurate snaps throughout his gameplay.  Austin can definitely play at the next level with his talent on the front line.

Henry Rankin, OT, 6’1" 240lbs, JR, Siuslaw High School
