Top quarterback

Forrest Brock, Birmingham, 2021

Birmingham had an easy game against Taft last week but Brock was spectacular in the limited playing time he got. The senior quarterback completed 9 of 10 passes for 184 yards and three touchdowns in the Patriots’ 66-0 win. He is 6-foot-3, stands tall in the pocket and is extremely accurate. He transferred to Birmingham from Palisades and has an offer from Georgetown.

Top rusher

Dijon Stanley, Granada Hills Charter, 2023

He had 307 yards on 12 carries with four touchdowns in a blowout win over El Camino Real. He is averaging nearly 12 yards per carry and has nine touchdowns through just three games. He runs the ball well and has good football instincts. When he puts on some more muscle he should garner some quality offers.

Shaquille Brookins, North Hollywood, 2022

Brookins is the catalyst of the North Hollywood offense. His numbers on remarkable and the entire offense runs through him. In a win against Poly of Sun Valley last week, he rushed for 311 yards on 26 carries with four touchdowns. He is the top rusher in the City Section with 715
