OTHER THOUGHTS AND OBSERVATIONS
The team with the most talent on its roster has yet to play a game at the time of the posting of this article. That team is St. Frances Academy. They have not played a game since last fall. Their entire roster is full of FBS level football talent. I hope we get to see them play at least one time this spring.
St. John’s (DC) is off this week and will face Our Lady of Good Counsel next Saturday. Speaking of talented teams, McDonogh did not play a football game this past fall and is not scheduled to play a football game this spring. That’s a really bad situation for the Class of 2021 prospects on their team. That is the case for a lot of schools in Maryland right now. Some schools in Maryland only played 2-3 games during the fall and don’t plan to play any more this spring. Of course, all of this is because of COVID-19. I understand the need for the safety precautions, but there are a lot of kids who won’t get the opportunity to pursue their dreams of playing college football.
