Offensive Lineman
AJ Torfin (Hopkins) 6’2, 285 lbs. 3x All-District, All-Area, All-Metro Second Team, All-State Second Team. GPA 3.4. ACT 23
Holds offers from Upper Iowa, UMary, Southwest MN State, Dordt. Senior film shows some thunderous hits on pass-protection and pulls alike, as well some big cracks at the DL position as well. Torfin is built like a brick wall and bounces weaker defenders off of him with ease, and shows a tremendous amount of pop in his pads and in his hands from the initial snap of the ball. He’s got a good first step and comes out of his stance low and with a ton of power, and is also mobile for his size and comfortable in space when looking for work on a screen or when getting to the second level. He’s also got a ton of experience, accomplishments, and natural talent, and I’ve been eagerly awaiting news on his potential commitment since the fall season ended. Best of luck, AJ.
Riley Bauer Riley Bauer OL Rogers | 2021 State MN (Rogers) OL/DL. @riley85006737
Holds an offer from St. John’s. Versatile prospect who played a ton of different positions in 2020 and is a quicker lineman with a good ability to get out of his stance quickly when pulling who possesses some surprising strength and pop in his hands and plays with good foot drive and a low center of gravity.
Forrest Scheel Forrest Scheel OL Eden Prairie | 2021 State MN (Eden Prairie) OT. 6’7, 300 lbs. @ForrestScheel79
Holds offers from St. Thomas, UMary, SMSU, Northern State, Bemidji State, Concordia-St. Paul, Minnesota-Duluth, MSU-Mankato. Possesses one of the largest offer sheets of any unsigned prospect in the state, and on film he shows up as a massive OT who gets out of his stance quickly for a big guy can get out and operate in space. He’s patient in his pass-drop and with his size he can easily overwhelm smaller opponents. He would benefit greatly from a college S&C program and shows a lot of intriguing skills on film. I am very interested to know what he is thinking in terms of his recruitment.
Gavin Rein Gavin Rein OL Owatonna | 2021 State MN (Owatonna) OC/NG. 6’2, 245 lbs. @GavinRein1
Hasn’t reported any offers. Worked his butt off to bounce back from a junior ACL injury that saw him miss the entirety of his season. His senior film shows a versatile and physical two-way lineman with a great motor and a good understanding of leverage. As an OC, he shows some quick feet and an ability to operate in a zone-blocking scheme. He’s also fundamentally sound and has a great motor to boot, and would make for a great DIII OL.
Nuh Misirli (Mounds View) 6’, 280 lbs. @MisirliNuh – GPA 4.014
Received offers from UM-Morris, St. Olaf College, Hamilton College, Rose-Hulman, Augsburg. Senior Hudl shows off a LG who has a strong punch and is a willing finisher of blocks who does a good job of driving opponents into the ground when given the chance. He plays with a good base and also shows he can get out and move a little as a lead blocker as well. He’d be a great addition to a DIII OL room.
Dominick Zahner (Rogers) 6’6, 310 lbs. @dominick_zahner
Offered by Mayville State. Visited Valley City State. Played on the Rogers Royals OL and DL in 2020, and his tape primarily shows him as a NT, where he eats up double teams and holds gap responsibility like it’s nobody’s business. For a big guy, he does a good job of trying to play low, and I love his hustle and motor as well. I personally think he’d make a great collegiate OT, but with limited film at the position, it’s hard to break down his game at the position. He’d be more of a raw project but has some promising upside and an excellent frame for the offensive line.
Jackson Cichosz (Winona)
Received some recruiting graphics from the University of Sioux Falls. No film, unfortunately.
Emmanuel Alabi Emmanuel Alabi OL Champlin Park | 2021 State MN (Champlin Park) OL. 6’4, 330 lbs. @EmmanuelAlabiRT
Hasn’t reported any interest or offers. Moves pretty well for a recruit of his size and plays with a really impressive motor that aids him as a symbolic tank when leading blocking for Rebels RBs in 2020. He’s got some impressive plays out in space and is a vicious down blocker who also shows some impressive reps where he counters DL hands and wrecks them in pass-pro. He’s got a ton of intriguing traits and is a good athlete at the position who would benefit greatly from a college S&C program. I hope he plays in college!
Taggert Reynolds (Willmar) OG. 6′, 295 lbs.
Hasn’t reported any interest or offers. In his limited 2020 game film, he shows a comfortability in getting to the second level and looking for work, keeps his hands active, and plays until the whistle blows.
Neko Glaser Neko Glaser 6'1" | DB Alexandria | 2021 State MN (Alexandria) OG/OC. 5’11, 250 lbs. @nekoglaser
Hasn’t reported any interest or offers, but camped at Minot State. He’s got excellent foot drive and blocks like his hair is on fire, and he moves well in space and plays low to the ground. He had a particularly strong game performance against Brainerd last season, and put multiple Warriors into the ground with authority throughout the game.
Elliot Heinrichs (Hill-Murray) OG/DE. 6’4, 230 lbs. All-Conference/All-District. @ElliotHeinrich2
Hasn’t reported any interest or offers. Possesses great size and was a standout in his district, but he doesn’t have any updated senior film, unfortunately.
Rollin Rowe (Holy Angels) OG. 6’1, 245 lbs. GPA 3.47 @RollinRowe
Holds an offer from St. John’s. Also plays NG. Unfortunately, he does not have updated senior film.
Alex VonRueden (Rogers) 6’1, 240 lbs. All-District HM @VonruedenAlex
Recently visited Concordia College-Moorhead. Also holds offers from the College of St. Scholastica and visited Duluth as well. Senior highlights display an athlete mostly playing DL, who is laterally quick and comes off the ball in a hurry. He’s physical and aggressive when getting off blocks as well, and uses his hands well to disengage from blocks, and is strong at the point of contact.
Riley Ampig (Champlin Park) OG. 5’11, 240 lbs. @RileyAmpig
Visited Gustavus Adolphus College and Augsburg University. In his two games of senior tape you can see that he is a strong cutter and can also get out of his stance quickly when pulling and is solid at the point of contact. He’s a good run blocker who keeps his feet churning and blocks through the whistle or until the man in front of him is in the ground.
Isaac Lange (Andover) OL. 6’3, 280 lbs. @isaaclange71
Was invited to the University of St. Thomas junior day. A team captain for the Huskies in 2020, Lange shows that he has a ton of pop off of the snap and is a proficient and powerful puller from the tackle position who moves well for his size and can make an impact when blocking for screens. He’s also a vicious finisher and is a really strong run blocker as well. I hope a DIII or NAIA scoops him up soon here!
Josh Baughman (Chaska) OL/DL. 6′, 250 lbs. @joshbaughman6
Hasn’t reported any interest or offers. Senior tape displays an explosive puller who absolutely wrecked some defenders in his senior campaign of 2020. He possesses a ton of pop in his frame, loves himself some contact, and is a heat-seeking missile for it from his OG position. I also like the technique he plays with, and he would make a collegiate OL room a lot better upon his arrival. He’s got one of the most fun tapes to watch of any prep on this list, and I hope he continues playing football at the next level.
Ivan Ayala Jr. (MPLS Washburn) OG. 6’2, 260 lbs. @IvanAyala0419
Offered by MN-West CC, Avila University. The Washburn Miller OL is stoutly built and very hard for opponents to move, especially with his good footwork that keeps his body in a good position to react to defensive lineman’s rushes. He’s a capable puller who can erase edge defenders from a play, and he also seems solid in pass-pro and got a lot of experience pass blocking in Washburn’s strong aerial assault in 2020. I love seeing city kids play in college, so I’ll be keeping an eye on Ayala and his decision this spring.
Amos Guar (Champlin Park) OL. 6’2, 315 lbs. @Amosguar1
Holds an offer from North Dakota State College of Science (NDSCS). Another member of Champlin Park’s large and imposing 2020 OL unit, Guar shows a versatile lineman who played RG, LT, and DT in 2020 and played them all well. He loves playing and blocking through the whistle and looks really hard for opposing defenders to disengage from once he gets his hands on them. Guar also plays with a wide base and is overwhelming for smaller guys when he tries to get you into the turf. I like how he plays.
Sabrii Omar (MPLS Washburn) OL/DL. 6’3, 260 lbs. @SabriiOmar
Hasn’t reported any interest or offers. Senior highlight tape displays an offensive tackle who does a good job of getting his hands on the chest plates of DL and driving his feet until the whistle blows. He’s got solid strength and also shows some versatility and an ability to play on the DL as well.
Carlton Oftedahl (Luverne) @Coftedahl19
No film.
Nate LeMay (Roseville) OL/DL. 6’2, 245 lbs. @NateLeMay4
No film.
