Week 5 of the spring football season in Missouri produced more memorable performances, both by teams and individuals, who continued to show their potential in the alternate season.

Prep Redzone’s Josh Robinson has a good look at several players from Hazelwood Central’s 39-0 win over visiting Hazelwood West here.

Here is a quick look at some of the players who stood out on Saturday, led by a pair of Central standouts...

Bryson Brown Bryson Brown 6'4" | QB Hazelwood Central High School | 2022 MO , QB, 6-4, 170, Class of 2022, Hazelwood Central

Brown completed 9 of 14 passes for 158 yards and three touchdowns in the win over Hazelwood West.

In five games this spring, Brown completed 59.5 percent of his passes for 627 yards, with eight touchdowns against two interceptions.

Lionel Banks, RB, 5-5, 184, Class of 2022, Hazelwood Central

Banks was one of the most consistent performers in the area this spring.

Against Hazelwood West, Banks rushed 11 times for 97 yards and a touchdown. For the five-game season, he racked up 547 rushing yards and eight touchdowns.

Banks’ performance this spring established him as a player to watch this fall.
