Offensive Spotlight
Kanen Rossi Kanen Rossi 6'3" | 280 lbs | OL Sunset | 2021 State OR , OL, 6’3″ 285lbs, Sunset HS ’21

Rossi is an absolute best in the trenches and a definite FBS level talent. He has a wide, thick frame with solid length at his size. Rossi is powerful at the initial point of contact and frequently drives opponents backwards. If he’s not driving them back, he’s dropping them on his initial contact. He does a great job with leverage as he has shown the ability to redirect opponents and open big lanes for his ball carriers. His mobility is impressive, as he can pull or get to the second level very quick. He shows violent hands and finishes blocks with a mean streak. Rossi holds his ground well in a pass set with the ability to identify various blitzing schemes pre-snap. Rossi moves well at his size and shows a good overall football IQ. He is a 1st Team All-State and 1st Team All-League player and is committed to Valparaiso, although he just received a PWO from Oregon yesterday.

Defensive Spotlight
Keontae Johnson-Gibson Keontae Johnson-Gibson 5'11" | 170 lbs | ATH Clackamas | 2023 State OR , CB, 5’11″ 160lbs, Clackamas HS ’23

Johnson-Gibson was a big time player in the secondary for Clackamas. He does a great job in man coverage and plays well in space. He tracks the receivers hips well and trusts his speed. He shows a good change of direction to transition out of his backpedal and breaks on the ball well. He is a big time ball hawk as QB’s underestimate his closing speed, and he does a great job baiting them into throws. Johnson-Gibson shows solid hand placement to punch through the hands of receivers to force PBU’s, and is physical enough to avoid the PI calls. He has solid speed all around with big athleticism across the board. He was an effective tackler in run support and did a good job recognizing quick screens to blow them up. Johnson-Gibson projects to have a strong junior season next year as he is developing into a true lockdown CB and was invited to the Washington National Preps Showcase back in January. He’s also part of the wrestling team at Clackamas.
