The turn out was amazing and gave us a great look at some players who do not get the attention they deserve. Every young man who attended performed at a high rate and gave it their all which was a great thing to see. Many of the players came in determined to leave their marks and made the most out of this opportunity. Below is a list of a few top performers in the class of 2023 who looked the part and caught the eyes of everybody at the showcase. Later this week will be a list of more standouts so keep your eye out for more names from the showcase!
Top Defensive Performers:
Kevin Allen – Everman High School (Texas)
Allen showed his power and quickness throughout the day. At 6’2 and 265 pounds, Allen was moving, posting a 4.82 40 time and then showing his explosion with an 8’0 broad jump. In the one on ones, Allen was continuously drawing eyes. Every rep was a dominate rep and he brought much energy to the defensive side. He may have been a hidden talent at first, but after his showing this past weekend, Allen will be a name added to many top defensive players in the class of 2023 lists.
Dillan Botts – Bridgeland High School (Texas)
Botts showed much promise and upside at the showcase. Standing 6’2 and weighing 270 pounds, Botts showed a quick first step and good explosion off of the snap. He showed great change of direction in his L-Drill and had excellent reps in the one on one period. He had relentless pass rushes and made very good moves to win reps against opposing linemen. Thomas was quick on the first step and used his hand incredibly well throughout the period. At 6’4, 336 pounds, Thomas showed his strength and power pushing linemen back with little resistance. Thomas put up very impressive numbers for a player with his size and showed his agility and light feet. He will be a key recruit to follow as his recruiting process begins to gain traction.
Top Offensive Performers:

Johnson drew many eyes when he walked through the door. He has great size, standing 6’5 and 335 pounds, but moved incredibly well for his size.
