There are a lot of young talented prospects and several sleeper prospects that could start getting looks for the next level. Prep Redzone Florida will always promote everybody in hopes of them getting the opportunity of playing college football at the next level.
James Smiley- Armwood High
5’11 205lbs
Smiley is one of the best running back prospects in the State of Florida. He’s a 3-down back that can be used in a variety of ways.
Strengths: As runner he has good patience, wiggle, and quickness. He’s a powerful downhill runner that keeps his legs churning, but also has burst and acceleration through the hole. His balance is off the charts and he demonstrates great cutback ability and change of direction.
He currently holds over 10 offers including power 5 offers from Arizona State, Auburn, Georgia Tech, Penn State, and Pitt.

Rod Gainey- Tampa Bay Tech c/o 24
5’9 170lbs
Gainey is one of the best class of 24 running backs in the state. Last season he rushed for 836 yards, 10 touchdowns and averaged over seven yards per carry.
Strengths: He runs with good quickness and has a unique ability to elude defenders, and has ability to pick up chunks of yards at any moment. He has excellent burst and smooth acceleration, speed and outstanding vision.
Gainey is a terrific D-1 prospect that was invited to the Under Armour All-American Camp, he currently has offers from West Virginia and Penn State!

Keith Morris- Wharton High
5’6 160lbs
Morris is a running back prospect from Wharton that made second-team all-conference last season. He rushed last season for 413 yards and 5 touchdowns, had two games with over a hundred yards and averaged almost 7 yards per carry.
Strengths: He’s not a very big back, but he runs with a low center of gravity and doesn’t take many direct hits, he has very start/stop ability, good burst and lateral agility and shows the ability to make defenders miss in space.
He’s also a good student that has a 3.9 GPA.
Corniel McCrary- Wiregrass Ranch
5’10 160lbs
McCrary is a solid prospect and forms one of the best one-two punches in the District with Walker. Last season McCrary rushed for 453 yards, 3 touchdowns, and averaged over seven yards per carry.
Strengths: He has very good vision, patience, hands, and his ability to pick up chunks of yards. He’s a versatile player that has a lot of explosiveness in the open field.
McCrary will be a key piece to the puzzle in helping Wiregrass reach the playoffs again this season.

Kenneth Walker- Wiregrass Ranch c/o 23
6’0 190lbs
Walker is a good running back prospect and that made first team all-county last season, he rushed for 527 yards, seven touchdowns, and had 10 catches for 159 yards.
Strengths: He’s a 3-down back that is a very good receiver, he has tremendous cut back vision and speed, he’s a slasher that sets his blocks up nicely and shows burst through the hole.
He’s in line for a big season this year and is severely under-recruited.
