Here were the <a href="https://prepredzone.com/2021/04/southern-california-top-rushing-performances-week-5/">top rushing performances</a> from week five.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="25104" first="Jaylen" last="Henderson"], Chaminade, 2021</strong>
Chaminade had a high-profile game on Fox Sports against Alemany and Henderson stepped up to the plate. He completed 75 percent of his passes for 255 yards and four touchdowns in a 34-27 win. He also was the team’s leading rusher, rushing for 123 yards on 11 carries with a touchdown. Henderson has one of the best arms in the 2021 class and makes very difficult throws off his back foot look effortless. Fresno State is getting a multiple year starter in Henderson.

<strong>Marshall Howe, Harvard-Westlake, 2022</strong>
Howe went head-to-head with another great quarterback in [player_tooltip player_id="25416" first="Richie" last="Munoz"] from La Salle last week and Howe led the Wolverines to victory. He had 245 yards with three touchdowns in the win, all touchdown passes to JT Thompson. Howe has been outstanding all season, throwing 12 touchdown passes to just one interception. He will transfer to Avon Old Farms next year in Connecticut and has been in contact with Yale recently.

<strong>Nathan Kornely, Villa Park, 2022</strong>
Kornely is an intriguing 2022 prospect who is definitely increasing his stock with a great junior short season. He threw for a career-high 423 passing yards in a crucial Crestview League win against Foothill last week. He had a dominant second half against El Modena two weeks ago and is rolling right now. He will lead Villa Park in a league championship game Friday against Yorba Linda.

<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="25247" first="Justyn" last="Martin"], Inglewood, 2022</strong>
Martin had a school-record eight touchdown passes in a win against Muir at the Rose Bowl last weekend. The eight touchdowns ties Ethan Garbers, formerly of Corona del Mar High School and now at UCLA, for a CIF record. He is a very gifted athlete who makes deep throws look effortless and is accurate to all levels of the field. Martin is verbally committed to Cal and may have some more successful games at Pac 12 stadiums like the Rose Bowl.

<strong><a href="https://prepredzone.com/2020/08/capo-valley-qb-dartanyon-moussiaux-wins-las-vegas-throw-down/">Dartanyon Moussiaux</a>, Capistrano Valley, 2021</strong>
Dart has been throwing it all over the field for Capo Valley this year and the team needs him to be a gunslinger. He set a school-record at Capo Valley, throwing for 413 yards with six touchdowns in a 42-28 win over Trabuco Hills. He has thrown for 1365 yards through four games this season with 15 touchdowns compared to just two interceptions. He is big and moves well in the pocket with a big arm. Moussiaux would be a good option for Division 1 programs who may have missed out on their first choice quarterback. He will be a great late addition to a team.

<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="25441" first="Kadin" last="Semonza"], Mission Viejo 2023</strong>
When [player_tooltip player_id="25053" first="Peter" last="Costelli"] opted to leave Mission Viejo early to enroll at Utah, people thought Mission Viejo would have a void at quarterback. The sophomore Semonza has stepped in and the Diablos haven’t missed a beat. He had the best game of his young career last week against San Juan Hills, completing 21 of 24 passes for 329 yards with five touchdowns. Semonza will lead the Diablos to the South Coast League championship game against San Clemente Friday and he is playing at his best level at the right time.
