Crestwood – 2022 DL Jamori Coard
2020 Season Stats: 20 tackles, 2.5 sacks, 5 TFLs (6 games)
Analysis: Coard stands at 6’3, 285 pounds and uses his size to his advantage at the defensive end and nose tackle position. He has the speed and athleticism to chase the quarterback down from behind as his motor is always running. He wins the battle at the LOS, demonstrating that he is an effective run stopper. He recovered a fumble on film. He garnered first team All-Region honors and was selected to the all-state defensive team by the SC High School Sports Report. He just received an offers from Georgia Southern University on Wednesday, April 14 and the University of North Carolina Charlotte on Friday, April 23. You can expect that offer list to grow heading into the 2021 season.
Crestwood – 2022 WR Maki Williams
2020 Season Stats: 18 catches, 296 yards, 1 TD (6 games)
Analysis: Williams lines up at the outside receiver position for the Knights and can catch it and immediately get YACs. We noticed on his film on a short reception where he made one guy miss and it was a long touchdown. He can show off his speed on special teams at kickoff return. He’s solid at holding his blocks. And he can also go up and high point the ball, using his eyes and hands. He garnered first team All-Region honors during the 2020 campaign. He is an excellent student with a 3.27 core GPA.
Barnwell – 2024 C Seneca Baines Seneca Baines 6'0" | 265 lbs | OL Barnwell High | 2023 SC
Analysis: Baines is balanced at the center position. He’s only a young guy but held his own in year one of varsity football last year. He can get to the second level on pass plays and has solid hands and foot movement and he can pull block well.
Barnwell – 2022 QB Weston Rhett Sandifer Weston Rhett Sandifer 6'1" | 205 lbs | QB Barnwell | 2022 SC
Analysis: The rising senior stands at 6’0, 205 pounds and when you turn on the film of this guy, you can see how he has developed in the offense over the last few years. He has pinpoint accuracy on throws, especially in the quick game (ex.: slants) The thing that is most impressive is that he knows when to step up and avoid pressure and he can make throws on the run and roll out while not sacrificing the accuracy. He is an outstanding student in the classroom with a 4.14 GPA.
