The top two receivers in the Suburban Conference Green Pool this spring were both juniors who established themselves as players to watch this fall.

The two Class of 2022 standouts were joined by several seniors who were looking to close out their high school careers by showing what they could do and impress college coaches.

Here's a quick look at the Suburban Conference Green Pool receiving leaders, by receptions, this spring.

Dennis Keyes, WR, 6-2, 168, McCluer, Class of 2022

Keyes led the conference in receptions (27) and receiving yardage (404) this spring and hauled in three touchdown receptions.

He had three monster games – nine catches for 131 yards against Pattonville, eight receptions for 124 yards and two scores against Lift for Life and eight catches for 133 yards and one touchdown against Hazelwood Central – in the first three weeks and then combined for just two catches for 16 yards in the final two games.

As a sophomore, in 2019, Keyes caught 16 passes for 174 yards and two touchdowns.
