The talent pool in the 7-A West is impressive with plenty of talented players on both sides of the football. For an article and list like this, it will need to be split into multiple parts, in order for the prospects to be acknowledged. Meanwhile, keep the names fresh in your minds, this group has the potential to be a special one this season. The listing is going to be multi-part, so we will have plenty of players to observe over the next few weeks.
Isaiah Sategna Isaiah Sategna 5'11" | 170 lbs | WR Fayetteville | 2022 State AR -Wide Receiver-Fayetteville
One of the top wide receivers in the state of Arkansas plays for the Purple Dogs. Sategna has excellent speed and is extremely dangerous after he catches the football. The Fayetteville coaching staff does an excellent job positing Sategna all over the field. He can operate in the slot or terrorize opposing corners at the outside receiver spot. Over the course of his career, Sategna has racked up 1,353 yards and eight touchdowns. The potential for a big season is there for Sategna and the 2021 season should be a big for the Fayetteville wide receiver.
Chas Nimrod Chas Nimrod 6'2" | 170 lbs | WR Bentonville | 2022 State AR -Wide Receiver-Bentonville
The Northwest Arkansas area is loaded with talented wide receivers. Chas Nimrod Chas Nimrod 6'2" | 170 lbs | WR Bentonville | 2022 State AR is another wide receiver that has all the makings of being another talented division one wide receiver. At 6-3, Nimrod is a threat to score from all over the field. In the red zone, Nimrod is one of those wide receivers that can use his athletic ability to high point the football. Nimrod’s post routes and his go routes are very crisp routes. He has the potential to light up opposing defenses this season and he is going to be another wide receiver to watch in 2021.
Da’von Sparks Da’von Sparks 5'9" | 165 lbs | RB Springdale | 2022 State AR -Running Back-Springdale
The Springdale Bulldogs have one of the best rushing attacks in the 7-A West. Sparks is a threat to take it the distance from anywhere on the field. He has excellent vision and is not afraid to run it up the middle or he is just as effective when he cuts it to the outside. An underrated facet of Sparks’ game is his receiving ability. He is just as an effective wide receiver as he is a running back. At bot positions, he has the ability to find the open field and make life miserable for opposing defenses. Sparks has the potential to cause some problems for the opposing defenses this season and in the process burst onto the recruiting scene.
Malachi Cramer Malachi Cramer 5'9" | 150 lbs | DB Har-Ber | 2022 State AR -Defensive Back-Springdale Har-Ber
Cramer is a player that the Har-Ber Wildcats depend upon to take away one side of the field for the opposing offense. Cramer has shown good speed and he does a good job of stick with the opposing wide receiver that he is covering. He does an impressive job of being to knock the football away if he cannot pick off the pass. Cramer has shown that he is a solid tackler and will not be sloppy about making a tackle. Cramer has a chance winding up on some recruiting radars with a solid season this season.
Marion Slater Marion Slater 6'2" | 215 lbs | LB Rogers | 2022 State AR -Linebacker-Rogers
The Rogers Mounties have been a team on the rise recently. It should come as no surprise to see Slater on this list. Slater does a great job of filling the rushing lanes and bringing the ball carrier down. He will not miss tackles and Slater does an excellent job of bringing the ball carrier down. An underrated facet of Slater’s game is that he uses his hands very well to fend off blocks and make the tackle. He has been impressive in pass coverage over the past few years. Slater can pick the pass off and take it the distance. Slater is a solid under the radar prospect that has the potential to blow up this season.
