He transferred from Williams Field High School in Gilbert and his three-year varsity totals include the following: 2, 511 yards rushing; 8.6 yards per carry; 291 total carries; 119.6 yards rushing per game, and 37 touchdowns. He totaled 672 yards rushing as a freshman, 1,761 as a sophomore, and 78 as a junior in a shortened season. In three years Aziya has over 3,000 all-purpose yards. One of his best games was in November of 2019 when he carried the ball 37 times for 243 yards and three touchdowns against Northwest Christian.
Aziya recently completed a number of 7-on7 tournaments including the Red Zone Elite 7-v-7 Super Bowl Classic. He also competed in the Under Armour All-American Phoenix camp. Approaching his senior year, Aziya has five confirmed college scholarship offers: Arizona State, BYU, Idaho, New Mexico, and Northern Arizona University. There will certainly be more to come.
Kaden Cloud Kaden Cloud 5'11" | 185 lbs | RB Williams Field | 2022 State AZ is a 5-11-185-pound running back from Williams Field High School in Higley. As a junior last fall, he rushed for 618 yards and 6 touchdowns, finishing second in 6A rushing yards. Last fall, against Goldwater High School, he ran for 159 yards. As a sophomore, Kaden ran for 1,277 yards in 14 games, an average of 10.9 yards per carry and 91 yards per game. He also scored 16 touchdowns. In two years, as a sophomore and junior, Kaden has run for 1,895 yards and an average of 8.5 years per carry.
Kaden had nearly 2,000 all-purpose yards as a sophomore. As a freshman at Williams Field, he ran for 1,260 yards on the freshman team and 13 touchdowns in only five games. Playing for Head Coach Steve Campbell, Kaden helped the Black Hawks win the 2019 5A State Championship. He was selected as an Honorable Mention candidate in the 2019 5A ArizonaVarsity.com Awards as a running back. While maintaining a 3.86 GPA, Caden has received, to date, a scholarship offer from Oregon State. He enters his senior year this coming fall.
Jeryll Mcintosh Jeryll Mcintosh 6'0" | 220 lbs | RB Desert Edge | 2022 State AZ is a 6 foot, 220-pound running back for Desert Edge High School in Goodyear. In nine games as a junior, he ran for 1187 yards on 200 carries, an average of 5.9 yards per carry. He averaged 131.9 yards per game and scored 11 touchdowns. He finished second in the state in rushing. As a sophomore, in 14 games, Jeryll had 1325 yards rushing on 213 carries, an average of 6.2 yards per carry. His two-year total is 2,512 yards and 23 touchdowns. Additionally, he had 15 games where he rushed for 100+ yards. His all-purpose yards total is 2.853 yards.
In 2020, Jeryll was named Offensive Player of the Game on three occasions – against Cactus, Ironwood, and Mesa. He was named First Team, All-Region, and was selected as the Offensive Breakout 5A Player of the Year by ArizonaVarsity.com. The running back has been timed at 4.7 in the 40-yard dash and has received a scholarship offer from Morgan State. Both San Diego State and Army have also shown a lot of interest.
Jeryll has a strong, athletic frame with a powerful lower half. He also has great balance and can be very physical. He has top-end speed to finish long runs. He plays his best in the biggest games and clearly projects as a Power 5 running back. Jeryll’s sister, Leilani, plays on the women’s basketball team at the University of California.
Cameron Mack Cameron Mack 5'7" | 180 lbs | RB Peoria | 2022 State AZ is a 5-7, 185-pound running back and strong safety for the Peoria High School Panthers. He is also a member of the Panthers basketball team as well as the track and field team. As a freshman, Cameron ran for over 400 yards and scored six touchdowns. As a sophomore, he ran for 891 yards in 123 carries, an average of 7.2 yards per carry. But he missed three games because of a minor injury. In last year’s shortened season, Cameron finished with 612 yards rushing, an average of 76.5 yards per game, and five touchdowns. He should have a breakout season in 2021.
Playing for Head Coach Will Babb, the Panthers finished 4-4 last fall. Cameron was selected on the Second Team All-Regional as a sophomore and First Team All-Regional as a junior. He was selected as the overall Player of the Game against Arcadia last November when he rushed for 105 yards and two touchdowns. He has a 4.75 time in the forty-yard dash, can bench press 210, squat 340, and has a vertical jump of 26. This fall he will become a four-year starter for Peoria and colleges will have Cameron on their radar.
Zach Hammett Zach Hammett 5'8" | 185 lbs | RB River Valley | 2022 State AZ is a 5-8, 185-pound running back and special teams player at River Valley High School in Mohave Valley. He is also on the Dust Devils baseball team and carries a 4.0 GPA. In 2018 and 2019 Zach was awarded Player of the Game honors a total of nine times. Against Needles High School in 2019, he ran for 263 yards and four touchdowns. Last fall, in a 56-0 win over Kingman Academy, he touched the ball nine times and had 5 touchdowns.
Zach led the state in punt returns, averaging 37.7 yards per return. As a freshman, he ran for 189 yards, 1,264 as a sophomore, and 911 in the shortened season last fall. His three-year totals include 2,364 yards rushing and 35 touchdowns. Adding to it his return yards, his all-purpose total is 3,758 yards. Additionally, he was named the 3A Special Teams Player of the Year. He is athletic with position versatility and has solid speed with the ability to make big plays.
Zach and his teammates ran a camp for youth sports recently as they gave back to their community. He has been invited to December’s Hawaii Tiki Bowl in Honolulu. Staying healthy, Zach should have a breakout season as a senior in 2021.
