The Western Kentucky commit finished his HS career with another strong performance throwing for almost 400 yards and five touchdowns. He threw for over 300 yards in five of six games this season. He’s a consistent pocket passer that is able to hit is spots at all three levels. He shows good natural arm talent with the ability to mix up velocities and throw from different arm angles to deliver an accurate and catchable ball. Displays a high football IQ in combination with his plus instincts, timing, and anticipation. Had offers from Bucknell, Georgetown, Idaho, Missouri State, Montana State-Northern, and San Jose State before committing to Western Kentucky.

It was a record-breaking night for Skyler in the season finale win over Eisenhower. He tied Kellen Moore’s record with eight touchdown passes and then overtook the school single-game yardage record by throwing for 520 yards, also ranking fourth on the state’s all-time list. He’s a strong pocket passer that can pick apart defenses
