Luke Abshire Luke Abshire 6'2" | 180 lbs | QB Central Valley | 2022 State WA , QB, 2022, Central Valley
Abshire had a monster stat line throwing for 425 yards and three touchdowns on 26 of 48 attempts. Throughout the game he showed great accuracy at all three depths, especially at the intermediate level he was able to his spots in traffic and allow his receivers to run after the catch. Showed good velocity and zip using his snappy release to get the ball out quickly and on time. Shows great command of the offense and the QB position as a whole going forward. Possesses D1 potential and upside.
Teagin Child, WR, 2021, Auburn-Mountainview In the league clinching victory over Kentlake, Child racked up 12 receptions for 142 yards and a touchdown. He’s a strong two way player with good athleticism and natural instincts for the game. Confident and soft hands, he shows a good ability to adjust to the ball in the air and the body control to come down with difficult receptions outside his catch radius. Explosive playmaker after the catch, he routinely turns short catches into long gains. Holds an offer from Carroll College.
Robert Collier, RB, 2022, Gonzaga Prep
Rushed for a game high 150 yards on 13 carries and tacked on 33 yards receiving on one reception. He flashes great natural instincts and anticipation as a ball carrier. He’s a smooth athlete that is savvy with his movement and always in balance. Not an easy tackle, he’s tough to bring down with his strong/compact frame and low center of gravity. Does a good job driving his legs through contact with the ball in his hands. Showed strong and confident hands out of the backfield to be an effective receiver. One to keep an eye and expect him to have a big senior season.
Ryan McKenna, QB, 2022, Gonzaga Prep
Led Gonzaga Prep to an undefeated record rushing for over 100 yards and leading two fourth quarter scoring drives capped off with touchdown runs of 51 yards and one yard. He’s the definition of a dual-threat QB with his ability to make game breaking plays with both his arm and his legs. He’s a fluid athlete with plus lateral agility and top end speed. He shows great change of direction and acceleration out of his cuts to make defenders miss. He’s very efficient running the read option offense making quick decisive reads while being smart with the football. Has continued to improve as a passer showing good touch and accuracy all over the field.
Caleb Shawen, RB, 2021, Mead
Shawen was efficient and productive with his 11 carries in the win over University taking them for 111 yards and two touchdowns. A well-rounded football player that is a playmaker on both sides of the ball using his strong 6’0” 220 lb. frame. He’s a powerful downhill RB that also shows good quickness and short area burst to make defenders miss. Does a good job making one quick lateral cut and getting square to the LOS. Runs with good pad level, leverage, and balance to run through contact and break tackles. Holds an offer from Whitworth and is still looking for a home at the college level.
