Some may not make the headlines or have a whole bunch of stars by their name. However, these are some special athletes that could make some noise next season and end up being great college athletes. Let’s take a look at who made the list. We will continue to update this list this week as we uncover others who deserve the spotlight.
Greg Knox Greg Knox 6'5" | 270 lbs | OL Peabody | 2022 State LA | 6’5″ 270 lbs | OL | Peabody
Gre recently received his first Division I offer from Texas Southern University back in the middle of March. Others are showing interest in Knox like Stephen F. Austin, The big 6-5 linemen puts guys in the dirt. I like that he keeps driving and moving his feet and never gets lazy waiting for the whistle to blow. Knox definitely has the requisite size to compete at the next level. I think his footwork could use a little improvement in pass blocking, but this is a solid O-linemen that can open up some holes on the line and athletic enough to get out in space.
Garrett Mmahat Garrett Mmahat 6'2" | 180 lbs | QB Brother Martin | 2022 State LA | 6’2″ 180 lbs | QB | Brother Martin
This QB can get it done through the air and ground. Racking up over 2206 all-purpose yards and 20 touchdowns. Through the air, he completed 97 of his 155 passes and threw for 1805 yards, 16 TDs, and only 3 INTs on the year. Mmahat works the pocket beautifully and can throw a bomb down the middle of the field and hit his receiver in stride. I love this QBs arm and big playability. No offers yet but definitely an FBS / FCS level of an athlete.
Christian Arceneaux Christian Arceneaux 6'5" | 215 lbs | QB South Terrebonne | 2022 State LA | 6’5″ 215 lbs | QB | South Terrebonne
2020 Christian was 8-4A Offensive MVP and 1st team all-district QB. Christian is also the second all-time passing leader in school history. He threw for over 1,500 yards and had 17 touchdowns last season. His footwork could use improvement. Also doesn’t have the strongest arm. However, this WB can find the endzone and is proficient in the short to the intermediate passing game. He shows he can also roll out and throw well on the run evading pressure.
Calvin Bullock Calvin Bullock 6'4" | 175 lbs | WR Destrehan | 2022 State LA | 6’4″ 175 lbs | WR | Destrehan
Calvin was first-team all-district. He had 24 receptions, 353 yards receiving with 6 touchdowns on the year. I like his size at 6-4 he makes for a big target for QBs. His good vertical speed to get over top corners. I think he has room to add mass to his frame at the next level and I could see him playing tight end as well as he shows he can block well.

Ethan Clark Ethan Clark 6'4" | 285 lbs | OL Pineville | 2022 State LA | 6’4″ 280 lbs | OL | Pineville
Probably the best linemen on this list. Ethan has a devastating first punch. Once he has locked on to a defender the battle is lost for them. He’s going to pancake them either by his first punch or his relentless drive. He never stops moving his feet and shows great technique and strength. I like this lineman a lot. Most definitely an FBS/ FCS level of an athlete.

John Curtis Goodman John Curtis Goodman 6'5" | 300 lbs | OL Alexandria | 2022 State LA | 6’5″ 300 lbs | OL | Alexandria
This is a big lineman who is pushing 6’6”. He plays the interior of the line at guard. However, I think he could be best at tackle. He’s not the most athletic and didn’t show to many plays of him getting out in space or to the next level on film. The first punch he delivered could also use improvement. But I like this linemen’s size and lower body strength. He consistently showed he could crack down on big defensive linemen and put them in their back.

Omiri Wiggins Omiri Wiggins 5'11" | 195 lbs | RB Acadiana | 2022 State LA | 5’11″ 195 lbs | RB | Acadiana
Wiggins just received his first offer from the University of Idaho. The star Acadian running back has helped lead his team to back-to-back state titles. He shows he can make quick cuts and also shows dangerous lateral speed. He can run in between the tackles and wiggle his way into tiny holes to find the endzone. When he runs, he’s looking for six, not a first down. Gots the breakaway speed to do it. FBS prospect with a high ceiling for success in college.
