5-star defensive linemen, Jordan Renaud Jordan Renaud 6'4" | 250 lbs | DL Lewisville | 2023 State TX , takes the top spot of our D-line rankings. The star defensive linemen have made leaps and bounds and have made our NO.1 spot. The junior big man holds 20 Division I offers. The one college that experts think Renaud is leaning towards is Nick Saban’s Alabama Crismon Tide. The Crimson Tide has their best recruiters like coach Jay Valai talking to Renaud. Others who have offered are schools like Auburn, Baylor, and the Florida Gators.
David Hicks David Hicks 6'4" | 245 lbs | DL Paetow | 2023 State TX | 6’4″ 245 lbs | DL | Morton Ranch
The Morton Ranch star defensive linemen made big-time plays for his defense and got to the quarterback on multiple occasions. The sophomore performance Hicks put together earned him amongst the top of our rankings at NO.2. Hicks holds 28 Division I offers. Of course, Alabama is after another one of the state’s best defensive linemen the state has to offer in the class of 2023.

2020 Avion was named first-team all-district selection in his sophomore season as a defensive end. The is a reason for that. 67 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, and 10 sacks on the year made for an impressive resume for Carter. LSU, Norte Dame, SMU, and the Oklahoma Sooners are the latest to offer the star d-end. Look for the Tascosa star to put on an impressive junior season.

Texas offers some of the best prospects at every position. This prospect is no different. The Ridge point defensive linemen is an animal on the line and can cause serious problems for opposing offenses. Kalu’s father is former Rice and NFL defensive end N.D Kalu. 2020 Kalu was a unanimous first-team all-district selection as a sophomore.
Kaleb James Kaleb James 6'4" | 235 lbs | DL Mansfield | 2023 State TX | 6’4″ 235 lbs | DL | Nolan Catholic
James had a tremendous sophomore year catching the attention of many in the state and the nation. The versatile linemen can play multiple positions on the defensive line and can do way more than just plug up gaps, His sophomore year he racked up 57 tackles, 16 TFls, 10 sacks, 1 PBU, and 1 forced fumble. Kaleb has 11 Division I offers. The latest to offer is SMU, Utah, Maryland, and Virginia.

2020 Jayden earned first-team all-district honors as a sophomore, 2019 was a second-team all-district selection as freshmen. His sophomore year he put up some impressive numbers with 51 tackles, 10 TFL’s and 4 sacks on the year. It’s a surprise he only holds one division I offer from Kansas.
