It’s still early with a lot of football yet to be played, but from a projection standpoint each of these individuals has a chance to be special.
Wiley Donnerberg 6-3 195 OLB/WR West Linn- I think one insider said it best when referencing Donnerberg, “He can play any skill position on the field, O or D. He is a 4* kid and plays with bad intentions (that’s a compliment). Wiley is always the best player on the field.”
Look for Donnerberg to start for three years and be a double digit D1 offer athlete, under one of the best coaches ever to represent Oregon in Chris Miller. Wiley comes from a very talented family with his dad Joe and twin brother Gus also being elite.
Joey Olsen 6-5 200 WR Lakeridge- OFFERS: Louisville– It’s incredibly rare to see any freshman start in the TRL, much less be named a unanimous 1st team all-league selection, in the state’s toughest conference. Olsen caught 22 passes for 355 yards and 4 TDs in 5 games, averaging 16.1 yards per catch.
He possesses phenomenal quicks and coordination for a 6-5 athlete who’s still so young. Add in a very connected 1st year head coach in Spencer Phillips, and you can expect Joey to be a major D1 recruit, and add to his offer list shortly.
TC Manumaleuna II 5-11 180 QB North Salem OFFERS: Oregon– The Ducks offer speaks for itself, as the freshman phenom helped his Vikings team to a much improved (3-3) record, with a lot of young talent on the roster.
Starting as a 9th grader at North is big, with the early reps and experience potentially being very valuable in the years ahead. He’s a great kid whose academic prowess (4.0 GPA) also speaks to him as a person.
Jayden Fortier 6-4 190 WR Tualatin- We have already talked about Fortier numerous times as he has the potential of being one of the best anywhere. His god given size, speed, and work ethic is something which can’t be taught.
The T-Wolves are loaded, especially on the perimeter. You would have otherwise most likely seen Fortier playing Varsity ball as a freshman. Moving forward look for him to team with the likes of fellow 24’ AJ Noland, and 2022 standouts (OSU commit)

AJ Pugliano 6-4 215 TE/LB North Medford- What will be another Major D1 recruit for the class of 2024. Pugliano broke out as a freshman, catching 19 passes for 236 yards and a TD in 5 games.
It’s still early, with a lot yet to be determined, but AJ possesses a host of traits you can’t teach. Playing down South you don’t always get adequate notoriety, but this could be another Chase Cota type wide out with continued progression.
