Some of the young players on the watchlist are names that are already known, while others are newcomers with serious potential.
This article highlights six of the freshmen who are on the watchlist. Some of whom may be known, while the others are fresh to the scene. Regardless of their current popularity, each one of them are players worth adding to every recruiting radar.

Matthew Jennings Matthew Jennings 6'2" | 270 lbs | OL Fountain-Fort Carson | 2024 State CO | Pine Creek | OL
Jennings is on track to become one of the top centers in the state. He has great size, quick feet, strong hands, and a very high football IQ. His ability to create a wide base and maintain inside leverage with his hands makes him a tough player to beat. Another thing that he does exceptionally well is use his situational awareness and his communication skills to pass off and pick up defensive linemen. Jennings has the makings of a center who can take the pressure off of a quarterback by making all of the needed adjustments for the offensive line.

Naz Benavente Naz Benavente 5'10" | 175 lbs | ATH Fairview | 2024 State CO | Fairview | 5’10”, 160lbs | DB
Benavente is a budding young athlete who started to make a name for himself early in his freshman season. He is a ball-hawking safety who is unafraid of coming downhill to deliver punishing hits. Offensively, he uses his explosiveness and athleticism to create separation with his releases and sharp cuts. Benavente is a young player with a high ceiling.
Dacio Ramos-Tuiletufuga Dacio Ramos-Tuiletufuga 5'10" | 160 lbs | LB Vista Ridge | 2024 State CO | Vista Ridge | 5’10”, 155lbs | RB
Tuiletugua stock has been rising for quite some time now. He is an explosive athlete with a vast set of skills that allow for him to line up as a running back who is dangerous in the passing game. Tuiletufuga is a player with high expectations, making him a young athlete to watch out for.
Pyrshawn Miller | Arapahoe | 5’10”, 160lbs | DB
Miller is a defensive back who is an absolute need-to-know player. He is a physical corner with good size and strength that complement his aggressive mentality. Miller has great eye discipline. He rarely takes his eyes off of his receiver, ensuring that he does not lose his man by peeking into the backfield.

Jake Krekeler Jake Krekeler 5'10" | 195 lbs | WR Argyle | 2024 TX | Valor Christian | 5’10”, 160lbs | WR
Krekeler is on track to becoming an invaluable target for any gunslinging quarterback. He has an explosive release with good hand-fighting abilities. Krekeler has great ball-tracking abilities that are complemented by his strong hands and excellent route-running.
Connor Clark Connor Clark LB Mountain Range | 2024 State CO | Mountain Range | 6’1” | LB
Clark earned himself a recurring role on the varsity defense early in his freshman year. He has great size and a relentless motor for a young linebacker. His versatile skill set makes him a prime candidate for a middle linebacker, outside linebacker, and an edge rusher. Clark has an old-school playing style, initiating devastating hits whenever he makes contact with the ball carrier.
