While many point to this program and talk about the national talent they have to choose from, you have to understand that these elite prospects who head to Bradenton each year is certainly at an advantage as each athlete competes for playing time against some of the top high school talent in the country.
As the Ascenders once again look toward the 2021 season, there is once again, plenty of optimism.
With so much talent to choose from, we bring you five rising seniors (2022) to keep an eye on this coming season. All are heavily recruited by schools from all over the country.
Aliou Bah Aliou Bah 6'6" | 325 lbs | OL Bradenton IMG Academy | 2022 State FL , OT, 6-6, 325. With schools such as Texas A&M, Texas, Penn State, Florida, Oklahoma and FSU watching his every move, here is one of the best in the class nationally, and this coming season, you will be able to see why college coaches from all over are singing his praises. With another impressive schedule, he will be able to lineup against the best of the best. Originally from the Memphis area.

Jihaad Campbell Jihaad Campbell 6'4" | 220 lbs | DL Bradenton IMG Academy | 2022 State FL , DE, 6-4, 220. Originally from New Jersey, this difference maker transferred to IMG Academy in January where he will play his senior season. This is a quick, strong and athletic talent, who is already among the best in the country at the position. With schools such as Auburn hot on his tracks, Campbell also holds offers from Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Ohio State and Texas among a plethora of other schools. This is one of those prospects who will keep this program at the top in 2021.

Dominick James Dominick James 6'2" | 270 lbs | DL Bradenton IMG Academy | 2022 State FL , DT, 6-2, 285. When it comes to interest from colleges, this major prospect is indeed one of the premier big men in the nation. In addition to Texas A&M, elite programs like Florida, LSU, Ohio State, Oregon and South Carolina are also very much in the game to land this exceptional football talent. Originally from Prattville, he finished with 30 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, a sack and a batted pass.

Keon Sabb, S, 6-3, 200. One of the best safeties in the country, this is a football talent that every college in the nation has been on over the past year. Size, skill and athletic ability have thrust this young man into a bright spotlight. With big time programs such as Clemson, Oregon, Rutgers, Texas A&M, Penn State, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Michigan, Georgia, Florida, Florida State, Auburn, Maryland and South Carolina, all keeping a close eye on this Williamstown (N.J.) High product. Every coach who has watched him play calls this standout one of the best they have watched in this class.

Drew Shelton Drew Shelton 6'5" | 255 lbs | OL Bradenton IMG Academy | 2022 FL , OT, 6-5, 290. After transferring this past January from Downingtown West (Pa.), where he played three seasons, big things are ahead for this impressive big man. Committed to James Franklin’s Penn State Nittany Lions, there are dozens of programs that are still on this very athletic and talented big men. Last season was all about showcasing his athletic ability. This off-season, it’s been all about getting more weight on his frame. Solid prospect who is going to do some huge things in 2021.
