Class of ’23:
Christian Sicard – Campus, 6’0”, 190, ATH
Sicard’s impressive day at the combine made him a shoo-in for the next round of updates in the Class of ’23 Player Rankings. The junior to be ran a 4.75 laser-timed 40, and a 4.5 3-Cone time. Sicard earned 2nd Team All AVCTL Honors as a defensive back in 2020, but he could be making plays at multiple positions this fall.
Hayden Oviatt Hayden Oviatt 6'2" | 205 lbs | QB Wamego | 2023 State KS – Wamego, 6’0”, 185, QB
It has been well documented that Oviatt is one of the top dual-threat quarterbacks in this upcoming junior class. His performance this past Saturday backed that up. Oviatt ran a 4.96 in the 40, and posted an outstanding 4.00 in the 3-Cone drill. He didn’t stop there though. Oviatt also hit 119 inches in the Broad Jump, 43 feet in the PB Toss, and 35 inches in the Vertical Jump. Absolutely huge day for this young man.
Maxxwell Ford Maxxwell Ford 6'3" | 210 lbs | QB St. Thomas Aquinas | 2023 KS – St. Thomas Aquinas, 6’2”, 205, QB
Ford helped his case for a higher ranking in the next round of updates for this class. The young quarterback tested well across the board. He ran a 4.9 40, a 4.4 in the 3-Cone and a 7.4 in the L-Drill. Ford also added a 44-foot PB Toss, a 37-inch vertical and a 114-inch broad jump. He’s a player that continues to impress.
Class of ’24:
La’ Terrius Robinson Jr. – Wichita East, 5’8”, 140, WR
The Aces have had some quick playmakers on their roaster the past few years, and Robinson is yet another example of that. Robinson posted a 4.9 in the 40, and a 4.53 in the 3-Cone. He also made some plays during the 7-on-7 tournament. The young wide out will be a prospect to watch as he continues to develop.
Braylen Hoobler Braylen Hoobler 5'11" | 195 lbs | LB Eudora | 2024 State KS – Eudora, 5’11”, 175, ATH
Hoobler is a prospect to watch, and one that could see his role expand as a sophomore. He showed some potential in his limited varsity snaps at tailback and linebacker in 2020. While at the combine he ran 5.0 in the 40, and a 4.47 in the 3-Cone. He also posted an impressive 37 inch vertical.
Dillon Marshall – St. Thomas Aquinas, 6’1”, 185, LB/DB
Aquinas is known for producing some of the best talent in the state, and Marshall could be another player that fits the mold. Marshall ran a 5.01 40 and had a 4.5 3-Cone time. His times will only get better as he gets older and develops. He could be competing for some varsity snaps this fall.
