Anez Cooper Anez Cooper 6'5" | 330 lbs | OL Pleasant Grove | 2022 State AL | Pleasant Grove
Size alone makes Cooper a D1 tackle prospect if nothing else. Cooper is in the 6″4 325+ lb range with a still bit of a squishy build that should allow him to firm up with muscle mass long term. Big time strength with intention and ability to put defenders on the ground. Has some stiffness and average athletic ability which may cause him to move inside to guard, but strength offsets that and allows him to be more than successful. Production in both ground and pass game. Raw talent but physical frame will appeal to coaches and scouts. Has Power 5 offers from South Carolina and Georgia Tech with more Group of 5 interest.
Denzel Holder Denzel Holder 6'4" | 315 lbs | OL Huffman | 2022 State AL | Huffman
Perfectly framed and situated to be a prototypical guard at the next level. Big and strong with average length. Holder comes off the ball with good bend and immediate blowback to defenders. Easy strength that doesn’t have to be torqued is present. Gets “slappy” with hands at times, not sure he understands just how strong he is or can be. Moves well and is versatile athletically as an up front guy. Will not limit your offense. This kid should have offers by now. Good potential for the future.
Parker Mitchell Parker Mitchell 6'4" | 285 lbs | OL Thompson | 2022 State AL | Thompson
Mitchell had a big Jr year with 26 pancake blocks and only 1 sack given up for one of the best offenses in the state. Physical frame has some length but isn’t overly imposing overall. Room to fill out body and in return identify fit wise better as a guard or tackle. Plenty athletic and long to play the tackle spot, just depends what happens with added weight and strength. Comes off ball the ball with some slight stiffness but altogether moves pretty well throughout the play. Understands his job and is successful with it. Surprised his recruitment doesn’t have more going on currently. Sleeper/project type guy.
Kaden Young Kaden Young 6'4" | 295 lbs | OL Madison Academy | 2022 State AL | Madison Academy
Sure fire centers can be hard to find, but Young is a no doubter at the position. Effective release to the QB and immediately fires into blocking mode with junkyard dog intentions. Production as a pass and run blocker, although it is obvious he loves to hunt up field. Smart football player that looks to have potential to be a signal caller on the line. Athletic enough to get the job done. Type of kid that will make your offense better. Reports a South Alabama offer at the time with more to come.
Kyler Gibson Kyler Gibson 6'5" | 280 lbs | OL Munford | 2022 State AL | Munford
Elite length shows immediately with Gibson as a tackle prospect. Frame lacks mass/size at this time but looks ready to take on weight. Strength shows and has potential to be a great tool moving forward. Gibson sets width of pocket well. Doesn’t “clamp” onto defenders. Tends to have concrete feet at times which will need to be improved but shouldn’t be an issue. Frame and strength are top tools. Coaches and scouts looking for a project tackle that has the frame and coachability should take a look.
