Continue ReadingWe’re fully into the recruiting season now as college programs are starting to take a break this spring before they head back to school in the summer for camp and more practices. The spring is over for college teams, but things are just getting started at the high school level. Practices will start all over the state once the calendar hits May, but that hasn’t stopped major prospects from adding to their offer list.
Here are a few peach-state prospects who have earned more offers in the last few days…
Waltclaire Flynn Jr. – Grayson
The outstanding 2024 OL will be a multi-start this fall already as a sophomore and is quickly becoming one of the top offensive line prospects in his class. The big 6-foot-2 275-pounder from Gwinnett County is a state champion and opened up a lot of holes for running back Phil Mafah Phil Mafah 6'1" | 213 lbs | RB Grayson | 2021 State GA last year. The elite underclassmen already holds some impressive D1 offers including FSU and Georgia Tech, and now he’s earned another ACC offer from Miami. Flynn played center last year for the Rams and more than held his own against some of the top defensive lines in the state. Look for more offers to start coming his way shortly.

Kanye Varner – Jonesboro
Although he does already hold a few offers from UCF, South Florida, Syracuse and a few others, the impressive 6-foot-3 270-pound defensive lineman earned a new Power 5 offer this week from Kansas State. The Jonesboro defender could see more come his way as more coaches check out his junior tape. Varner is quick off the ball, shows violent hands, and can get into the backfield on a consistent basis. He can get after the passer but shows a good motor getting to the ball-carrier as well. He’s one of the top returning defenders in the middle Georgia area.

Justice Haynes Justice Haynes 5'10" | 205 lbs | RB Buford | 2023 State GA – Blessed Trinity
Arguably the top overall back in the entire state, the Roswell native is coming off an incredible sophomore season and already holds offers from top SEC programs including Georgia, Alabama, Auburn, Florida, among others. Now the high four-star back has received an offer from the Texas A&M Aggies. The multi-sport star is one of the best athletes in the state and could push for 5-star status as a running back with a big junior season. In 2020, Haynes rushed for 1,600 yards and 22 TDs.

Martel Height Jr. – Rome
The 2023 playmaker from Rome is one of the top overall athletes in Northwest Georgia. The WR/DB is a multi-sport athlete and also stars on the basketball court for the Wolves in the off-season. As more people watch his athleticism and playmaking ability on tape from his sophomore years, they start to show interest. The 6-foot-0 175-pounder earned his first offer from Florida in late April and has now earned his second SEC offer from Vanderbilt. With a big junior season approaching this fall, expect more major D1 programs to start showing interest and possibly pulling the trigger on an offer.
I would like to thank @CoachCBell26 for the offer GO GATORS 🖤🐊 pic.twitter.com/B17i3tPkd7
