No. 10 Nat Iannello/205/LB/Donovan Catholic
Iannello made 61 tackles (11 solo) and sacked the quarterback in eight games last season.
No. 9 Colin Riley/6-1/220/LB/Wall Township
Riley made 72 tackles (17 solo) and sacked the quarterback seven times seven games last season. His team won all of its games.
No. 8 Marc Pretto/6-2/215/OLB/St. Peter’s Prep
Pretto has an offer from Navy. He made 49 tackles (39 solo) and sacked the quarterback 2.5 times in six games last season.
No. 7 Charlie Sasso Charlie Sasso 6'1" | LB Wall | 2022 State NJ /6-0/215/ILB/Wall Township
Sasso has an offer from Monmouth. He made 97 total tackles (17 solos) in seven games last season.
No. 6 Jimel Quann Jimel Quann 6'0" | LB Winslow | 2022 State NJ /6-0/210/ILB/Eastern
Quann has an offer from Temple. He made the most out of what was a rough season for his high school team. He made 56 total tackles (38 solo) in five games last season.
No. 5 John Lista/6-1/210/ILB/Fair Haven
Lista has offers from Kent State and Navy. He made 75 total tackles, forced four fumbles, recovered four fumbles, and sacked the quarterback four times in eight games last season.
No. 4 Adam Klenk Adam Klenk 6'1" | 215 lbs | LB Seneca | 2022 State NJ /6-2/215/OLB/Seneca
Klenk has an offer from Navy. He solidified himself as one of the best two-way players in the state. He made 68 total tackles (22 solo) and sacked the quarterback nine times in seven games. Klenk also ran for 853 yards and three touchdowns on offense.
No. 3 Damir McCrary Damir McCrary 5'11" | 205 lbs | LB Woodrow Wilson | 2022 State NJ /5-11/190/OLB/Woodrow Wilson
McCrary has offers from Boston College, UMass, Miami (FL) and Virginia Tech. He had what I would certainly call a monster junior year season in 2020. He made 51 total tackles, forced a fumble, and sacked the quarterback in five games last season. McCrary may not be the biggest, but he’s among the best in New Jersey.
No. 2 Zion Cheeks Zion Cheeks 6'2" | LB Penns Grove | 2022 State NJ /6-2/195/ILB/Penns Grove
Cheeks committed to Cincinnati on Feb. 23. Boston College, Buffalo, Central Michigan, and Indiana were among his other offers. He has an excellent case for the No. 1 spot. Cheeks made 56 tackles (43 solo) and sacked the quarterback 11 times in nine games last season.
No. 1 Nyair Graham Nyair Graham 6'1" | LB Camden | 2022 State NJ /6-1/195/ILB/Woodrow Wilson
Graham committed to Maryland on Mar. 8. He then decommitted from Maryland in early March of this year. Boston College, Buffalo, UConn, and Georgia Tech were among his 15-plus other offers. He was good for 40 total tackles (15 solo) and one interception in five games last season.
