Offensive Spotlight
Justice Anthony, WR, 5’9″ 155lbs, McKay HS ’24

Anthony was able to make a significant impact on the McKay offense as a freshman, as he hauled in 20 receptions for 244 yards and a TD. He did a great job forcing and generating an outside release on vertical routes when needed, as he made himself a clear target downfield. He is explosive out of his cuts with a nice burst at the top of his routes to generate separation. He has solid speed all around and will only continue to build his speed as he matures and grows. Anthony is a solid route runner for a ’24 kid, and he also flashed some good body control on the sideline to stay in bounds. He flashed a glimpse of his ability to get shifty in space to make opponents miss, which i’m sure he will build on as well. He has soft hands and stepped up big for McKay as a youngster. I would like to see him add more twitch to his game, but he shows some nice potential to develop into a promising receiver going forward.
Defensive Spotlight
Jayden Moses Jayden Moses 6'0" | 200 lbs | LB Grant | 2023 State OR , LB, 6’0″ 200lbs, Grant HS ’23

Moses sizes up with a nice frame and build. He displayed solid play recognition and reacted to the ball well. He showed good short area and lateral quickness to put himself in position to make plays. He did an excellent job on film recognizing screens to blow them up showing a good football IQ. Moses has shown signs of becoming a legit threat as a pass rusher. With his quickness, he also has good bend around the edges, and flashed the ability to utilize both which really helped him put pressure on QB’s. He was on varsity as a freshman as well, and now after his sophomore season, you can tell that the game is slowing down for him, so he could potential have a big year next season. He was an effective tackler in run support, and he does a good job breaking down to tackle. He plays with a high motor and will have a big role next year as a junior. Moses holds a 3.5 GPA, and was invited to numerous camps and showcases in the summer and fall.
