Last season they started their season late, missing all of September due to Covid. They finally started their season in early October going 4-3. If it were a normal season, surely, they would have made the playoffs. We take a quick look at their 2021 roster and see if they can get back to the playoffs this season.
QB: Ian Brandt Ian Brandt 6'2" | 195 lbs | QB State College Area | 2023 PA 6’1 185; 2023
Ian is a little undersized. He does show a high, tight, quick release that can put some zip to the ball and does seem to be accurate. His arm should improve as he continues to grow and develop. He is athletic but won’t burn you with his legs. Ian does have limited film, but it will be interesting to see how he improves in his junior season.
WR: Jashaun Green Jashaun Green 6'3" | 180 lbs | WR State College | 2022 State PA 6’3 170; 2022
Jashaun is a good-sized receiver who has FBS potential. He is a good player; just don’t think he has that wow factor to him on film that teams look for.
OL: Michael Dincher Michael Dincher 6'2" | 300 lbs | OL State College | 2023 State PA 6’3 285; 2023
Michael is our 66th overall ranked player, he shows physicality and can be a finisher. He had 72 pancakes last season. He does drive his feet on contact but also shows to lunge at defenders. He is okay in pass protection. He currently holds 3 FBS offers.
DL: Stephen Scourtis Stephen Scourtis 6'4" | 240 lbs | DL State College | 2023 State PA 6’4 230; 2023
Stephen has good size with long arms who uses his hands well. He has okay get off with good bend, but lacks quickness and has decent speed. He does have good change of direction. Stephen is a good player but doesn’t ‘wow’ you with limited film.
