Jaheim Oatis Jaheim Oatis 6'4" | 345 lbs | DL Columbia | 2022 State MS has long been thought of as a future NFL guy and that has not changed since our initial rankings came out months ago. The rising senior, now committed to Alabama, holds on to the top spot on the DL as the recruiting buzz continues to buzz loudly surrounding the defensive tackle prospect. Zxavian Harris Zxavian Harris 6'6" | 310 lbs | DL Germantown | 2022 State MS also held on to his #2 spot on the d-line big board. Power 5 offers continue to pile up for the Germantown big guy as LSU is the most recent blue blood to offer.
Another guy that has seen his recruitment blow up over the course of the spring months is Aaron Bryant Aaron Bryant 6'4" | 300 lbs | DL Southaven | 2022 State MS from Southaven. Bryant takes over the #3 spot on the big board as his potential as a future college star interior linemen has become realized. Huge senior season expectations are awaiting Bryant, who will have the chance to play college ball virtually anywhere he chooses.
Rounding out the top 5 is Jacarius Clayton Jacarius Clayton 6'5" | 255 lbs | DL Tupelo | 2022 State MS of Tupelo and RJ Moss RJ Moss 6'4" | 250 lbs | DL Biloxi | 2022 State MS of Biloxi. Clayton is a long time Mississippi State commit and looks to be a true pass rushing end for the Bulldogs in the coming years. Moss has big time power 5 offers on the table with a chance to add to that list in the upcoming fall. Moss is a do it all type lineman, who can cause havoc in the pass game but has the size to clog up the trenches as well.
Two of the biggest movers up the list in this rankings update are Kalvin Dinkins Kalvin Dinkins 6'3" | 310 lbs | DL Lake | 2022 State MS and Davin Anderson Davin Anderson 6'4" | 235 lbs | DL St. Joseph's | 2022 State MS . At well over 300 lbs Dinkins, who is currently committed to Southern Miss, has a huge future at an inside technique as a run stuffer. and shows up at #8 in the spring rankings edition. Dinkins has shot up recruiting boards in the last few months and is expecting to put up big numbers at Lake High School in the next year. Anderson debuts in the rankings at #13 as his senior year approaches at Greenwood High. Anderson is a bit of a tweener from a size perspective, but we believe his home is on the defensive end. Quality length combined with a next level motor look to contribute to him being a devastating pass rusher in the future. Raw talent is present but will develop for Anderson.
