Oak Hills
Ian Schaefer DB 6’1 165 – Very technically sound DB. He plays multiple positions and multiple sports and is very versatile. Speed is off the charts. He does a nice job of getting to where the ball is and playing through the hands. Takes on blocks with extension and lockout. Escapes and sets the edge quickly. He is an interception machine back there with the height to intimidate throwers.

Jacob Hearn DL 6’0 225 – Aggressive DL on the interior. Comes off the snap low and fast and fires his hands. He really does a nice job of getting extension and keeping his eyes in the backfield. Escapes well and plays down the LOS. He is a force against stopping the run. Very powerful interior bull rush and collapses the pocket with ease. Plays off the cut block well and always makes great tackles.

Micah Hicks DL 5’11 225 – Very high motor player with the leverage to get after the blockers. He does a nice job of getting underneath the blockers and locking them out. Motor never stops and finds the ball well. He does a nice job of getting to where he is supposed to be on any given play. Will develop his pass rush this offseason and improve there.

Jon Kleier OL 6’3 285 – Very good center with equally good run and pass blocking. He is a massive human being who engulfs defenders. He moves his feet well and keeps a nice base throughout his blocks. He can move quickly laterally and get his hands on before they do. I was impressed with his pass blocking posture and ability to play in a 1 yard box. Uses his hands and hips to keep the defenders on the LOS.
