Its never to early to start preparing for the upcoming football season because there is really no “off-season” in football as we like to think here and it’s obvious by the massive amounts of content and information we have to bring you with the word of recruiting changing so much on a daily basis and especially after last year. Things are finally getting back to normal and athletes on getting back on campus, taking tours, and meeting with the coaching staff. With all of that being said, we want to highlight a few players who deserve the spotlight this coming up season and ones that you will doubt hear more and more about.
Jacorian Green Jacorian Green 6'2" | 170 lbs | WR Bluefield | 2022 State WV | 6’2″ 170 lbs | WR | Bluefield
Green is absolutely one of my favorite receivers out of the state. He is very explosive and can make the big plays look routine. He’s got dangerous speed and agility, he can change his direction at a moment’s notice and can turn a simple bubble screen into something that would be normally a 5-10 yard pick up into 6 points. Green is an FBS-level prospect and one to keep your eye on for in the headlines this coming up season.
Keynan Cook Keynan Cook 6'3" | 180 lbs | WR Woodrow Wilson | 2022 State WV | 6’3″ 180 lbs | WR | Woodrow Wilson
Kenyan is definitely one to keep your eye on this season. He has a big frame at 6’3 almost 6’4. I could see this guy playing tight end possibly at the next level. His speed won’t blow you away but he runs decent routes. Has the ability to get open and shows soft hands catching the ball.
Noah Waynick Noah Waynick 6'3" | 170 lbs | WR Huntington | 2022 State WV | 6’3″ 170 lbs | WR | Huntington
Noah is an overall excellent athlete on the field that is very versatile and plays both ways. I like him best at the wide receiver position. I think he could be a strong NO1. or NO 2 receiver or maybe even play tight end. Noah also showed a great burst off the line of scrimmage and quick feet. He does need some work but I think he is an excellent athlete and one who raised himself up to our rankings this year.
Dylan Blake Dylan Blake 6'3" | 165 lbs | WR Pikeview | 2022 State WV | 6’3″ 165 lbs | WR | Pikeview
Hylan is a hugely underrated receiver who could very well pass a lot of receivers that are ranked before him this year. He’s got an excellent frame, tall and length, and also has long arms which college coaches really love to see at the receiver position. He showed dangerous speed and adequate route-running ability. He can most definitely climb the ladder and win those contested balls by going up and catching the ball at its highest point. Watch this receiver this season, he could end up catching a lot of attention.
