Landen Hatchett Landen Hatchett 6'3" | 285 lbs | OL Ferndale | 2023 State WA , OL, Ferndale
The younger brother of UW offensive lineman Geirean Hatchett has continued to grow and develop year over year. Coming from the OC position at 6’3” 285 lbs. he shows excellent athleticism and mobility for the college level. He has great feet and short area burst to be an effective blocker in space while pulling and working to the second level. He’s a finisher that plays with great leverage and drives his legs through contact. Recruiting has taken off in recent weeks with power 5 offers coming in from Washington State, Oregon, and Oregon State.
Dorian Thomas Dorian Thomas 6'5" | 220 lbs | TE Kentridge | 2023 State WA , TE, Kentridge
At 6’5” 215 lbs., Thomas possesses the ideal size of a TE with the mobility of a WR. He’s a great athlete for his size with plus speed, coordination and body control. He’s a natural pass catcher with a large catch radius that can extend outside of his framework using that body control to come down with tough receptions. He’s explosive after the catch with a tough/physical running style and a great ability to break tackles. Offered by Nevada and FAU in early May, we fully expect his recruiting to take off as he’s able to showcase his talent.
Micah Banuelos Micah Banuelos 6'2" | 285 lbs | OL Kennedy Catholic | 2023 State WA , OL, Kennedy Catholic
Ideal size and frame as a sophomore at 6’4” 285 lbs. He’s a plus athlete for his size that showed he can run and move laterally to execute different types of blocks. Also displays good bend/flexibility in the hips, ankles, and knees allowing him to play with good balance and leverage out of his stance and at the contact point. He’s physical and flashes great natural strength and power at the POA. A violent finisher that fires his hips and explodes through contact while driving his feet. First offered by Nevada in late March and has since picked up Texas A&M and Washington. Watch for his recruiting to skyrocket as he continues to develop.
Cooper Jensen Cooper Jensen 6'5" | 210 lbs | TE Glacier Peak | 2023 State WA , TE, Glacier Peak
Jensen is a versatile 6’5” 210 lbs. projecting as a TE at the college level but also moves like a WR. He’s a plus athlete that runs well and flashes good change of direction and burst. Strong route runner that is savvy creating separation and possesses a great release move off the LOS. Great vertical threat that can stretch the defense with his speed and jump ball talent using his length, timing, and leaping ability. Strong and confident hands, he attacks the ball at the highest point and extends catching everything away from his body. Shows the body control and tracking ability to adjust and make highlight reel receptions. Recruiting stock is on the rise after picking up his first offer from Oregon State in late April, his first of many.
Amari Goodfellow Amari Goodfellow 5'11" | 175 lbs | QB Auburn | 2023 State WA , QB, Auburn
An impressive dual-threat QB that was named Offensive Player of the Year. He’s an explosive playmaker that is difficult to defend and plan for. He does a great job extending the play and improvising under pressure. Good decision maker as a passer, understands coverage and where the open target will be. Makes quick and decisive reads. Good accuracy, he consistently demonstrated he can hit his spots in a tight window or across the middle. He’s a legit running threat that shows good burst and instincts as a ball carrier. He made a name for himself in the short spring season flashing D1 talent/ability. He’s an exciting player to watch that will only get better.
Dempsy James Dempsy James 6'1" | 185 lbs | QB Spanaway Lake | 2023 State WA , QB, Spanaway Lake
James was voted MVP of the PCL after a great spring season throwing for almost 1,200 yards and 17 touchdowns in five games while leading Spanaway Lake to an undefeated record. He’s a smooth athlete that can sit back and use his arm to dice up a defense or use his legs to move the chains and keep drives alive. Good overall arm talent, he’s an accurate passer at all three levels and shows he can mix up velocities and arm angles to throw a catchable ball. Flashes good mobility and composure in the pocket under pressure while making smart decisions with the football. Great upside and potential.
