Ryan Pellum Ryan Pellum 5'11" | 170 lbs | WR Millikan | 2024 State CA , 5’10″ 160lbs, Millikan
Not only is Pellum the #1 ranked WR, but he is also the #1 ranked overall player for the 2024 class. He displays active feet off the ball to generate a clean release when facing press, and gets in and out of his routes well showing a solid COD. Very dynamic receiver all around as he’s utilized on screens, jet sweeps/reverses, and has that top end speed for big play ability as they love to get him the ball in space. He shows good twitch and lateral bounce to make opponents miss and is lethal in open space. Excellent body control to adjust to difficult throws and possesses soft hands to snag anything thrown in his direction. He’s also a dangerous KR/PR, and the sky is the limit for Pellum. He already holds around 26 offers, and will be a national recruit to follow for the next 3 years.
Terrell Bradshaw Terrell Bradshaw 5'9" | 175 lbs | WR Inglewood | 2024 State CA , 5’9″ 175lbs, St. Bernard
Bradshaw is a highly touted player and does a great job in the slot for St. Bernard, and is just getting started. He disguises his routes well and uses his eyes and loose hips to move and manipulate opponents when manned up against him. He flashes a nice burst out of his stick and is developing strong route integrity. Good short area quickness and COD, and will be a threat next season with the ball in his hands. Despite his size, he’s still a willing blocker in the run game and is a flat out scrappy, fearless 2024 player with big potential.
Jack Ressler Jack Ressler 5'11" | 185 lbs | WR Mater Dei | 2024 State CA , 5’11″ 185lbs, Mater Dei
Ressler doesn’t have a ton of varsity film, but he holds numerous intangibles that project him to be a big name in the 2024 class in the upcoming years. He sizes up with a good frame and is a creative route runner overall. He tracks the ball in well and is a very athletic kid all around. Deceptive speed in space and has flashed the ability to adjust his body and haul in difficult catches. Big time potential and he already holds offers from Arizona State, Arizona, Pittsburgh, and Hawaii.
Zacharyus Williams Zacharyus Williams 6'2" | 195 lbs | WR Serra | 2024 State CA , 6’2″ 195lbs, St. Bernard
Another young talent coming from St. Bernard, the Williams-Bradshaw tandem should be special for the next 3 years. Williams sizes up with a good frame and solid length as a 6’2″ kid and still has room to grow. He sows excellent route integrity and does a great job finding the soft spot in various zone schemes, establishing football IQ early in his career. Williams possesses good body control and does a great job securing the catch as he anticipates contact well. He has a good understanding of levels during scramble drill, contributing again to his football IQ. High ceiling and big expectations for Williams going forward.
Jaylen’Dai Sumlin Jaylen’Dai Sumlin 6'2" | 185 lbs | WR Sierra Canyon | 2024 State CA , 6’2″ 185lbs, Bishop Alemany
Sumlin sizes up with a solid frame and build, similar to Zacharyus Williams Zacharyus Williams 6'2" | 195 lbs | WR Serra | 2024 State CA . Bishop Alemany primarily utilized him on shallower routes like slants, hitches, and screens. His willingness and ability to stay on blocks may be his best trait right now as he is an extremely effective and sound blocker. He understands his assignments and shows good technique and an understanding of leverage. He could add hip flexibility to help him get out of his hitches a little better, but holds numerous intangibles going forward. Expect Sumlin to have a bigger role this upcoming season and bust loose.
