OL:
Ryan Brubaker Ryan Brubaker 6'6" | 280 lbs | OL Cocalico | 2022 State PA | 6’6’ / 280 | Cocalico
One of the biggest risers regardless of position in the entire 2022 recruiting cycle, Brubaker (10) has solidified himself as a legitimate Power Five prospect. The Cocalico native had a fantastic junior year and has performed well everywhere he’s gone. He’s someone that as a group, we’ve been extremely high on and we believe his top-10 ranking in the 2022 class shows just that. He has an opportunity to move up even higher with good showings this summer and fall.
Nick Del Grande Nick Del Grande 6'4" | 270 lbs | OL Lampeter-Strasburg | 2022 State PA | 6’4 | 270-pounds | Lampeter-Strasburg
A personal favorite of mine, Del Grande is a really good athlete, and while he still will need to be developed quite a bit before seeing the field at the next level. With his athleticism, his ceiling is considerably high. That’s why he’s our No.5 ranked offensive lineman and our No.41 player regardless of position. He recently committed to the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers. A great landing spot for the Lampeter-Strasburg product.
DL:
Lavon Johnson Lavon Johnson 6'4" | 325 lbs | DL Allentown Central Catholic | 2022 State PA | 6’4 / 325 | Allentown Central Catholic
Johnson flew up our rankings this offseason and now sits at No.22 overall, someone we project with the ability to play at either a very good Group of Five program or even a Power Five program. He’s already got great size at 6-foot-4 and 325-pounds and is well built at that size as well, using it to his advantage. We believe Johnson could rise even higher in our rankings if he gets the opportunity to get on the camp circuit, we already expect him to be a dominant force in the East Penn Conference this upcoming season, where he’s the returning Defensive Player of the Year.
Jalen Klemm Jalen Klemm 6'6" | 255 lbs | DL Pine-Richland | 2022 State PA | 6’6 / 255 | Pine-Richland
Klemm soured up our rankings in the latest update and finds himself now as a top-50 player in the state of Pennsylvania and is our No.12 ranked defensive lineman. Klemm is a fantastic athlete and is someone who I can see playing on either side of the ball at the next level. The son of former NFL offensive lineman Adrian Klemm who is now the offensive line coach with the Pittsburgh Steelers, so you know he possesses tremendous football IQ, and he does it show on the field. He’s still raw on both sides of the ball but the potential is there for Klemm to continue to rise in our rankings. He’s recently been on the receiving end of a handful of Power Five offers. Really excited to see where he goes from here.
Tyrone Sturgis Tyrone Sturgis 6'4" | 200 lbs | DL Imhotep | 2022 State PA | 6’4 / 200 | Imhotep Charter
A fantastic prospect, we here at Prep Redzone Pennsylvania were really impressed with his recent film from this past season and love his potential. As a newcomer to the rankings, he enters as the No.13 ranked defensive lineman and the 43rd ranked player overall. Imhotep has become a talent factory over the last few years and has seen players go on to have tremendous impacts at the next level (i.e; Tykee Smith). We believe that Sturgis could be next in line and see him as a player that could continue to rise through our rankings quickly. He will need to continue to get bigger and his future at the next level may be at linebacker, however, he already has developed a quality skillset at defensive end.
