Defensive Spotlight
DJ Daugherty DJ Daugherty 5'11" | 170 lbs | DB Marshfield | 2022 State OR , DB, 5’11″ 170lbs, Marshfield ’22
Daugherty could easily be listed as an offensive spotlight as well as he is a two-way playmaker for Marshfield. He has that swagger you look for in a CB and plays with a chip on his shoulder. He shows good patience and tracks the receivers hips well. Oftentimes on an island out there in man-coverage and his eyes are glued to the receivers hips. He possesses deceptive speed, as he baits QB’s by giving receivers cushion and shows a nice break on the ball. He can flip the hips and turn and burn vertical with receivers and gets his head around. He holds excellent ball skills all around and he plays the ball in the air on verts well as he showcases a solid leaping ability to pluck INT’s. Daugherty was a big time ball hawk in Oregon last season as he racked up 5 INT’s and was an absolutely lockdown corner. Just a solid all-around athlete that deserves some much needed attention.

Offensive Spotlight
Britt Murray, TE, 6’5″ 195lbs, Harrisburg ’22
Murray sizes up with a slender frame with tremendous length, and has much room to put on weight and grow into his frame. He’s a standout basketball player at Harrisburg as well, and translates that basketball athleticism to the TE position nicely. Harrisburg likes to get him the ball often and isolate him on the outsides. He can improve hip flexibility and explosiveness to capitalize on his route running a bit better, but has flashed solid physicality after the catch. He possesses strong hands with the ability to win contested catches, using his box out ability. He did a good job adjusting to poorly thrown balls to pull in numerous athletic catches. He’s a strong blocker in the run game as he understands leverage and has a good center of gravity. Murray has flashed power as a blocker to drive back or knock down opponents, and also holds ground well. He has the potential to have a huge senior campaign for Harrisburg and draw some DIII-NAIA attention.
