DL: James Quinnelly James Quinnelly 6'5" | 275 lbs | DL Daphne | 2022 State AL , 6’5, 275, SR
A sporty defensive line prospect that could potentially play all three spots across the line. On tape, James does a good job of putting speed to power as a pass rusher and will retrace his steps & work back towards the quarterback. He’s a fundamentally sound football player and does a good job wrong arming against gap scheme pullers. His overall length and athletic ability make him a really intriguing prospect.
OL: Taylor Hicks, 6’6, 300, SR
Hicks has some serious pop behind his punch and is ready to unload on defenders in an instant. He plays with consistent hand placement and will roll his hips once he makes contact with a defender. He’s shown that reaching five techniques is not an issue and that he can base block just about anyone. There’s definitely some good tools here you can work with. To me, he projects as a guard at the next level.
RB: Tyler Bradley, 5’8, 170, SR
This is a burner with great patience and can accelerate at the drop of a hat. Bradley can gash defenses on downhill interior runs or outside runs on the perimeter. He’s excellent on contact and can wiggle his way through trouble once a defender engages him. He does a good job of getting skinny through the hole and will burst right through any arm tackle attempts. His physicality as a pass blocker is hard to find at the high school level.
WR: Caleb Jones, 5’9, 160, SR
A sure-handed slot receiver with the body control to make tough catches at any moment. Despite his size, Jones is a physical blocker that looks to up-end defenders attempting to bring down his teammate. He’s even got some experience as an x receiver and can provide value there if his team gets in a pickle. He’s phenomenal working in the quick game and looks to turn north and south immediately following a reception.
DL: Johnnie Perdue, 6’2, 290, JR
Perdue is a three-technique that I envision kicking down to a one-technique at the next level. This young man eats up single blocks with heavy hands and great extension on opposing guards. His pure football strength is impressive as he can drive opposing blockers back with a bull rush or sit and anchor down against double teams. For a man his size, he actually has a surprisingly good motor and made his fair share of high effort plays on tape.
OL: Ashton Donald Ashton Donald 6'2" | 310 lbs | OL Daphne | 2022 State AL , 6’2, 305, SR
A physical guard prospect with great turnover on his knee drive. Donald can consistently move interior defensive linemen off the ball against their will. He shows great knee bend as a run blocker and has an explosive lower half. He is constantly looking for work as a pass-protector and will look to finish off blocks if his teammates need help.
OL: Jacob Galmiche, 6’3, 290, SR
Jacob shows outstanding feet and can mirror/re-direct against opposing defensive linemen. He fires off the ball with a low pad level and can overwhelm defenders at the point of attack. He’s a worker and will go hard from whistle to whistle. He’s got a gritty type style of play and is a fighter who won’t back down against anyone.
