No, but there are plenty of hidden gems that consistently slip through the cracks. We looked at some talented rising seniors who could take a big step forward in 2021 and see their recruitment take off.
QB: Max Thomson Max Thomson 6'3" | 215 lbs | QB SF Washington | 2022 State , 6’2, 205, Washington
When you turn on the film, you’ll see an intelligent pocket passer who uses his eyes as a weapon. Thomson is a strong timing thrower with outstanding ball placement. Although not a dual-threat, he has displayed enough athletic ability to get himself out of trouble when his protection breaks down. He’s a smoother operator and will climb the pocket to help him make throws downfield. I think he’s going to put together a very good senior campaign this upcoming fall.

ATH: Jace Sifore Jace Sifore 6'4" | 270 lbs | DL Howard | 2022 State , 6’4, 265, Howard
I was sent Jace’s film by Nate Wahl, who runs our Dakotas site, and came away very intrigued by this young man’s upside. Sifore dominated the nine-man completion that he played as both a center and defensive tackle. This is a big kid who can straight-up run like a deer. On tape, he showed a punch that jolted opposing defender’s heads back. The raw quickness, body control, and strength behind Jace makes him someone colleges need to know about.

LB: Cade Larson Cade Larson LB Harrisburg | 2022 State , 6’2, 200, Harrisburg
A fundamentally sound mike linebacker prospect equipped with great closing speed. Larson does a good job of scraping down the line and takes adequate angles to the football. He’s a see-ball get-ball linebacker with great range. He’s shown the ability to chase plays down from the backside and is a pretty gifted blitzer as well. I think if he continues to add some size this off-season and goes out and has another productive season, it’s going to be hard for schools to pass up on him.

OL: Aiden Brink Aiden Brink OL SF Washington | 2022 State , 6’4, 270, Washington
A taller center prospect that plays with an edge. Brink is a true knee bender who will roll his hips right into his punch. He can drive defenders off the football as a run blocker and can sit back & anchor down against a bull rush as a pass protector. This kid is intelligent enough to pass off movement and is consistently looking for work when nothing shows his way. I think based on his pure size as a center and mean streak; colleges will come calling very soon.
