The event features a 7v7 tournament and a lineman challenge. There is a lot of talent from the state of Texas that will attend The SHOW. Prep Redzone looks at some of the under-the-radar players from the Lone Star State who will be in attendance.
Everett Haven/6-0/220/Linebacker/2022/Alief Taylor
You’ll be hard-pressed to find too many linebackers who are attending The SHOW that have stats like Haven. He made 80 total tackles (46 solo) and 10 TFL during the 2020 season. Haven had three games in which he made ten or more tackles. We’ll be able to get a long look at his coverage skills against running backs this weekend.
Peyton Shaw/5-11/175/Running Back/2022/Boyd
Shaw received a decent number of carries during the 10 games he played in last season. He ran the football 71 times for 401 yards (5.6 ypc) and four touchdowns. Shaw will be able showcase his ability to catch the football against some solid competition at the linebacker position.
Tayshawn Wilson/5-10/165/Cornerback/2023/Mayde
Wilson made 20 total tackles (10 solo) in seven games last season. It’s worth mentioning that he’s also a solid kick returner. Wilson returned 11 kickoffs for 314 yards (28.5 yards per return).
Will McCune/Athlete/2022/Westlake
McCune made the most out of the four games he played in last season. He caught seven passes for 112 yards and three touchdowns and ran the football 20 times for 236 yards and eight touchdowns. They may use McCune at both the running back and wide receiver positions this weekend.

I am about 98% sure that most of the athletes above are in the 2022 and 2023 classes. There are athletes in the 2024, 2025, and 2026 class that will take part in the first session of The SHOW on Jun. 24 and Jun. 25. Prep Redzone will be on hand for the first session and will report on those athletes that get our attention.
