Region 2 in Class 3A is home to Daleville, Houston Academy, New Brockton, Opp, Providence Christian, Slocomb and Wicksburg.
Rashawn Miller Rashawn Miller 5'11" | 190 lbs | ATH Slocomb | 2023 State AL Jr. | 5-11 RB, OLB | Slocomb
Miller is an excellent tailback that has quick feet and a boost of power to his running game. He can power through defenders up the middle and gain extra yrds or get down the sideline and race to the endzone. He also has great hands in the pass catching scheme. At linebacker, Miller is a terrific tackler that can drop into coverage and force a pass breakup or tackle any ball carrier in the open field.
Gray Jennings | 6-1 QB | Opp
Jennings is a standout quarterback that possesses solid arm strength and the ability to elude defenders in the pocket. He can make accurate throws and can check down to any receiver when under pressure. Jennings can also use his legs to scramble out of the pocket and pick up needed yards on crucial downs.
Dada Stoudemire | 5-10 WR | Opp
Stoudemire is a lengthy receiver that can get separation at the line of scrimmage and cruise past defenders on deep routes. The incoming senior makes great cuts to gain extra yards and hauls in every pass thrown his way. Stoudemire could end up with 7+ touchdowns in 2021.
Braylon Miller | 5-11 MLB | Slocomb
Miller is a standout linebacker that can get into the backfield and force pressure and blow up any play. In coverage, he is an excellent defender that can stay step for step with any receiver and force a pass breakup. When Miller is on his game, he makes excellent tackles in the open field and can force fumbles.
Beau Sellers | 6-3 DT | Wicksburg
Sellers is a great defensive tackle that possesses great hands to get around offensive linemen and get pressure in the backfield. He has quick feet and great movement off the snap and can work his way inside to get tackles at the line of scrimmage. As the season nears, Sellers could be one of the best defensive tackles in all of Class 3A.
JaKanye Mount | 6-6 WR, DB | Opp
Mount is an excellent wideout with great hands and great versatility. He can rise up and catch any ball thrown his way before juking defenders to gain extra yards. With his quick speed, Mount excels at flying past defenders after the catch and can create a race to the endzone if he gets open. At defensive back, Mount is a sensational young star that plays at a high level. He can get momentum at the line of scrimmage and stay stride for stride with opposing receivers. If the receiver misreads the play, Mount can step in front and intercept the pass or knock it down.
