Players To Watch:
[player_tooltip player_id="50057" first="Avari" last="Marshall"]: 5’8,165 - Athlete
2022 [player_tooltip player_id="50057" first="Avari" last="Marshall"] is a threat on the football field no matter where you put him. The Gator playmaker can play running back, slot wide receiver, quarterback and cornerback on defense. Per MaxPreps, Marshall had 18 receptions for 375 yards and five touchdowns last season. He is also a track star with 4.4 speed. Marshall ran a school record 10.85 in the 100-meter dash back in April. He was named First Team All-Dade GMAC as a receiver and defensive back last season. Put him in space and watch him make plays in his final season. In the classroom, Marshall holds a 3.2 GPA. He has been offered by Tusculum, Cornell and Louisville.
Jamall Joseph: 6’0, 205 - Running back
2022 Jamall Jospeh is a powerful running back for the Gators. What makes him dangerous is he has speed to compound his frame. Moreover, Joseph is a track star when he is not punishing defenders on the field. As a junior, he ran for 1124 yards and 15 touchdowns over eight games. Joseph has garnered interest from Power Five schools. Please check out his junior highlights by clicking here.
Nicholas Erviti: 6’4, 305 - Offensive lineman
2022 Nicholas Erviti is a solid prospect on the Gators’ front. He has a long frame with a solid build to anchor anything that comes his way. Erviti is a hard worker and is constantly improving. In addition, he should be one of the leaders on the team. Erviti has received FCS interest.
Jose Hernandez: 6’1, 220 - Quarterback
2022 Jose Hernandez returns as the starting signal caller for Barbara Goleman. Hernandez passed for 854 yards and 14 touchdowns while tossing just two interceptions last season. In the GMAC title game, he passed for 175 yards and three touchdowns. Hernandez makes few mistakes and gets the ball out quickly. He has plenty of playmakers around him that can create yards after the catch.
Hernandez is also a forward on the basketball team. He currently holds a D3 offer.

Overview:
The Gators should be a very good team again after a perfect record last season. A good recipe for continued success will be tackling proficiency, ball security, generating turnovers and dominating special teams. They have a great senior class that knows how to win.
