LeBron Pendles | Wide Receiver/Defensive Back | Boys Town | 2022
Pendles was a prospect I got my eyes on at the Augie Prospect Camp and in Sioux Falls and came away impressed with his athletic ability. He showed that ability in the vertical as well as his second attempt at the pro agility.
When I got my eyes on Pendles tape, although there wasn’t much of it, every glimpse I got of it showed off a big motor and a high physicality level. I also took a look at his tape from the track this past season, and this young man shows off some solid straight-line speed with solid jumping ability. This young man has some untapped potential to play at the next level, and I’m sure he could be an under-the-radar prospect for Boys Town this Fall, with more film coming in his senior season.

Jacob Kriewald | Offensive Line | Bellevue East | 2022
Kriewald was a prospect I got my eyes on at the Northern State Big Man Camp early last week. Kriewald showed solid flexibility in his lower body in the 40-yard dash and was a prospect all day. I was very intrigued by his big motor. He also showed active footwork in the broad jump session. When Kriewald got into drills, he led a solid pad level which gave him good leverage against the competition. He also showed a strong stance in 1on1s to go along with it.
When I picked up some of Kriewald’s game tape, I saw a young man that has an effective pad level and gets solid corner leverage on his blocks. He gets his punches in early and is a stout run blocker that focuses on positioning the defender so he can get a solid angle block to draw the defender out of the way of his ball carrier. Kriewald also shows a solid ability to have the speed to drive upfield to make a block. He’s an undersized prospect at 5’11 245 but already holds one NAIA offer from Doane and is deserving of more scholarship level opportunities based on his excellent work ethic.
Taylor Wieczorek Taylor Wieczorek 6'3" | 290 lbs | OL Lincoln | 2022 State NE | Offensive Line | Lincoln | 2022
Wieczorek was a prospect that made it to the final series of 1on1s at the Augie Prospect Camp last week. He showed violent hands and solid leverage to get the best of the final 1on1 drill for the hog mollies. Wieczorek came into Sioux Falls as one of the most robust prospects at the camp at 325 pounds and used it really well on his rounds to be one of the best offensive linemen to close out 1on1s.
Despite his massive frame, Wieczorek, on tape, can get out of his stance and put together some pull blocks, which could be a scary sight if you are a defender and he’s out in front of the ball carrier. Wieczorek can easily pancake the defender like a train barreling down the rails with no stopping in sight with that amount of pull speed in pursuit. He is a finisher-type blocker that I am surprised does not have a scholarship offer yet. His testing numbers at Augie were not the best, but I will take a chance on this young man if I am a scholarship-level program.
Parker Wise Parker Wise 6'0" | 205 lbs | ATH Kearney High | 2022 State NE | Running Back | Kearney Senior | 2022
I got a short glimpse of Wise at the SDSU prospect camp a couple of weeks out in the testing sessions. He looked to be a well-put-together tailback at 5’11 200 pounds that showed a solid lower body that jumped right around 9 feet in the broad jump.
Out the gates, Wise shows an intense burst as a pass catcher in the backfield that can run downhill on you in a short amount of time. This kid has a rugged lower body while at full speed and is difficult to make a tackle without multiple defenders engaged on him. He is an effective runner on the outside toss that you can assure will attack the outside lanes for a consistent gain between 5-10 yards at least. Defensively, Wise makes sound contact on the bulk of the hits he gets at linebacker, which are usually made deep into the first level of the field when the offense is barely out of the backfield. Wise has been a hot prospect at the Division II level across the Midwest but has not gotten an offer yet.
Kolten Tilford | Running Back/Defensive Back | North Platte | 2023
Tilford was another Nebraska prospect that made an impression at the SDSU prospect camp as he ran 4.6 speed and ran a 4.3 in the pro-agility. What do I love most about those numbers? (besides them being great) he ran both of his bests on the second rep of testing, which, as I always say, I love when kids get better with reps.
Defensively I like how Tilford pops up into that first level and is almost like an attacking linebacker. Across multiple game films, I have watched how physical his contact is and how sound his pad level is on those tackles. As a tailback, Tilford shows a good hip turn when switching directions on the carry and is a prospect I am sure will get more reps in the 2021 season as he shows consistency and solid speed, especially on the outside toss. Do not be fooled by his size either, as this young man is a strong competitor in the North Platte weight room as well.

Jaiden Chrisman | Defensive Line | Grand Island | 2022
Chrisman was another prospect I got a first look at at the SDSU prospect camp a couple of weeks back. This young man stretched out to a 6’6 wingspan as a 6’3 270 defensive line prospect.
Chrisman had some light film available, but this is what I did grasp from it. He does his best work getting leverage at an angle and is soft on the hands as a prospect that can multi-engage on each play. I also liked Chrisman’s reach and technique as he’s a prospect that will put his ducks in a row and position them where they should go. I would like to see Chrisman develop a little more finish in his blocks, as in my eyes, I expected more of that while watching his tape.
Cody Harris Cody Harris 6'5" | 240 lbs | OL Bennington | 2022 State NE | Offensive Line | Bennington | 2022
When I watch offensive linemen, I don’t look at the testing numbers as heavily as some, but I did come away impressed with Harris’s pro agility running at just under a 4.9 in Brookings. He was another prospect that had some stretch in his arms, stretching out to nearly 6’6.
Harris is a driller when it comes to contact and can pancake a defender with ease when they get off balance. Harris also has some versatile movement when out of his stance and achieves a high level of landing multiple punches per play when he needs to. He also has a quick get-off off the snap, which makes him an elusive OL prospect on the fly. Harris also showed on tape that he can drive the bus upfield on his blocks and is a strong competitor with excellent skill sets. Harris has now collected two offers, one from an NAIA program and a local Division II program. I project Harris will be a Division II prospect based on his skillset. He will have to add some size, but if he can keep the skills I mentioned, this young man will have a bright future at the next level.

Nick Chanez | Quarterback | Papilllion La Vista | 2022
Chanez ran a solid pro agility time at the SDSU Prospect Camp at 4.3, and that was a great first look at this young man as we launched our Prep Redzone Nebraska site.
Chanez only has a recent tape from Papillion La Vista’s team camp at Northwest Missouri State, but I will not lie; it’s one of the best put-together tapes I have seen from a kid at a team camp. To start it off, Chanez shows off great arm strength on his medium-length passes. He also shows that he has some touch on the football to trust his wide receivers in tight windows. Chanez can throw on the run and can extend plays with his legs. He also has an elusive running ability in play-action, where he can use his speed inside to his advantage. The one development I saw on tape from Chanez is his balance on the throw, as I did see one play where he threw across his body completed the pass, but a more experienced defender closing in will try to make a play on that. I think this young man is an under-the-radar prospect that should be a scholarship level find before the end of his senior season.
