The players we are going to examine have set themselves up well to have a big 2021 season. So, let’s get started.
Bladen Fike Bladen Fike 6'2" | 195 lbs | QB Fayetteville | 2022 State AR -Quarterback-Fayetteville-2022
The Fayetteville passing game looks to be in the capable hands of Bladen Fike Bladen Fike 6'2" | 195 lbs | QB Fayetteville | 2022 State AR . Fike was terrific in the tournament. He was in sync with his wide receivers and had no problems moving the ball down the field. Jalen Blackburn Jalen Blackburn 6'2" | 190 lbs | WR Fayetteville | 2022 State AR , Isaiah Sategna Isaiah Sategna 5'11" | 170 lbs | WR Fayetteville | 2022 State AR , Dylan Kittell Dylan Kittell 5'10" | 170 lbs | WR Fayetteville | 2022 State AR , and Hays Robinson were all hauling in receptions. None of the players had drops that killed drives and Fike did not put them in bad situations. Fayetteville has momentum going into the 2021 season.
Charles Nimrod-Wide Reciever-Bentonville-2022
Nimrod continues to show why he is making college scouts and coaches take notice. Nimrod used his athletic ability and hands well in the Southwest Elite Tournament. He did an excellent job of putting his impressive speed on display in the tournament. Nimrod gives opposing defensive backs a tough time due to his athletic ability and how he is able to create separation. The Bentonville Tigers are going to be a dangerous team to contend with in 2021 and Nimrod has the potential to have a strong season.
Noah Goodshield Noah Goodshield 5'9" | 160 lbs | QB Rogers | 2022 State AR -Quarterback-Rogers-2022
Goodshield and the Rogers Mounties opened some eyes in this tournament. Goodshield was accurate with his throws and did a job of finding the open wide receiver. The Mounties receiving corps did a good job of hauling in his passes. With his performance in the Southwest Elite Tournament, Goodshield has set the bar high on what kind of season he could potentially have this season. Goodshield has an excellent chance to use this momentum and extend it into the season.
Jalen Blackburn Jalen Blackburn 6'2" | 190 lbs | WR Fayetteville | 2022 State AR -Wide Receiver-Fayetteville-2022
The offseason has done wonders for Fayetteville wide receiver Jalen Blackburn Jalen Blackburn 6'2" | 190 lbs | WR Fayetteville | 2022 State AR . Blackburn has a knack for using his athletic ability to haul in tough receptions. He is setting the stage for an impressive season this season. The Fayetteville passing game is going to be impressive with several talented wide receivers that have the potential to cause problems for the opposing defense. Look for Blackburn to continue his solid play this season.
Josh Ficklin Josh Ficklin 5'10" | 195 lbs | RB Bentonville | 2023 State AR -Running Back-Bentonville-2023
Bentonville is a talented football team. The Tigers do an excellent job of getting the running backs involved in the passing game. Ficklin does a good job of getting involved in the passing game. He does a great job of not being brought down on initial contact. Ficklin is a player that has ran well in camps this summer and performed well at the Southwest Elite Tournament. He is a player to watch out for this season.
Peyton McKee Peyton McKee 6'0" | 175 lbs | WR Springdale Har-Ber | 2022 State AR -Wide Receiver-Springdale Har-Ber-2022
McKee gives the Har-Ber Wildcats a player that they can use in the red zone. He has good hands and will not drop passes thrown his way. McKee has the speed needed to stretch the field. Look for the Wildcats to get him involved in the passing game early this season. Har-Ber has the potential to be a strong team this season.
On Sunday, the College Coaches Showcase camp will be taking place in Rogers. Prep RedZone Arkansas will be on hand to watch the workouts and scout some of the prospects. Be on the lookout for some articles throughout the week over the College Coaches Showcase camp.
