These are young athletes who got their first season of high school football under their belts and will be names to keep an eye on as they continue to develop and hone their craft. With that being said, let’s take a first look at the 24’ Offensive Lineman.
Manuel Garcia-Rivera Manuel Garcia-Rivera 6'4" | 320 lbs | OL Riverside Brookfield | 2024 IL Riverside Brookfield
Mr. Garcia Rivera is from Riverside Brookfield, he played on Varsity as a Freshman this past spring and showcased what he can do. What I like most about this young man is how quickly he gets hands-on driving the defender into the ground whether that’s in pass protection or run blocking. He’s a bigger tackle standing at 6’4 330, moves well for his size, and gets after it. Mr. Garcia Rivera has room to develop further and hone his craft further, with that being said he’s ready to make a name for himself this fall so be on the lookout as he continues to put in the work this off-season.
MJ Hansen MJ Hansen 6'4" | 280 lbs | OL Burlington Central | 2024 State IL Burlington Central Twitter
Mr. Hansen is from Burlington Central, he played on Varsity as a Freshman where he showcased what he can do. What I like most about this young man is how quick he is off the ball which helps him in all areas of the game such as getting to 2nd level blocks and stopping the defender in his tracks during pass protection. He has a good frame standing at 6’4 280 and has been working on developing himself as well as hone his craft. Mr. Hansen could very well become a top OL prospect in the 24’ class when it’s all said and done as he already has the aggressiveness under his belt, now it’s about honing his craft and seeing how he produces each season.
Armand Voloder-Munoz Armand Voloder-Munoz 6'4" | 260 lbs | OL Lake Park | 2024 IL Lake Park Twitter
Mr. Voloder Munoz is from Lake Park, he played on Varsity as a Freshman this past spring where he showcased what he can do. What I like most about this young man is how he does the little things for his team and “does his job” so to speak. He has a good frame standing at 6’3 230 where he does what’s asked of him from his coaching staff. He has room to develop further and hone his craft, keep an eye on this young man as he does.
Jackson Nekolny Jackson Nekolny 6'2" | 255 lbs | OL Batavia | 2024 IL Batavia Twitter
Mr. Nekolny is from Batavia, he split his snaps playing on JV and Varsity this past spring where he showcased what he can do. What I like about this young man is his ability to play through the whistle, especially when he run blocks. He stands at 6’2 215, he’s a name to keep an eye on as he continues to hone his craft and develop himself further. Be on the lookout to see how he performs with a full season under his belt this fall.
Jack Donovan Jack Donovan 6'1" | 260 lbs | OL St. Francis | 2024 IL St Francis Twitter
Mr. Donovan is from St Francis, he played on JV as a Freshman this past spring where he was a sight to see. What I like most about this young man is his ability to get hands-on quickly panicking the defender at the JV level. Standing at 6’1 240 he still has room to develop further and hone his craft as he awaits his first Varsity snap. If this is any indication of what’s to come, St Francis will be re-loading their talent on the O-Line with this young man as he’s a name to keep an eye on moving forward.
Josh Janowski Josh Janowski 6'2" | 275 lbs | OL Lincoln-Way East | 2024 State IL Lincoln-Way East Twitter
Mr. Janowski is from Lincoln-Way East, he played on JV as a Freshman this past spring where he showcased what he can do. What I like most about this young man is the tenacity that he brings in all of his blocking (run blocking, pass pro, blocking in open space, etc) on the JV level. He has a good frame standing at 6’3 235 and has shown glimpses of what’s to come as he continues to hone his craft as well as develop further. With that being said, keep an eye on this young man as he awaits his first Varsity snap.
Jack Anderson Jack Anderson 6'3" | 260 lbs | DL Glenbard South | 2024 State IL Glenbard West Twitter
Mr. Anderson is from Glenbard West, he played on JV as a Freshman this past spring where he showcased what he can do. What I like most about this young man is the tenacity he brings to the offensive line which is seen with him pancaking defenders at the JV level. He has a good frame standing at 6’3 225 and has room to develop further honing his craft. With that being said, as he awaits his first snap on Varsity keep an eye on how he does with a full season under his belt.
Jacob Katauskas Jacob Katauskas 6'4" | 280 lbs | OL Lemont | 2024 State IL Lemont Twitter
Mr. Katauskas is from Lemont, he played on JV as a Freshman this past spring where he showcased what he can do. What I like most about this young man is his run blocking ability that he showcased with his 6’2 240 frame. He showed glimpses of what’s to come as he continues to hone his craft and develop further as he awaits his first Varsity snaps. Once he does he’s going to be a name to keep an eye on as he has untapped potential yet to come to light.
Nathen Omolo Nathen Omolo 6'3" | 260 lbs | OL IC Catholic Prep | 2024 IL IC Catholic Prep Twitter
Mr. Omolo is from IC Catholic Prep, he played on JV as a Freshman this past spring where he showcased what he can do. What I like most about this young man is his run blocking ability that he showcased on the JV level where he would play through the whistle and pancake the defender. Now again, this is on the JV level and we have yet to see how he does against Varsity competition as well as how he does with a full season under his belt. He has room to develop further and hone his craft as he awaits his first Varsity snap, keep an eye on this young man as he does.
Evan Hamende Evan Hamende 6'2" | 210 lbs | OL Bishop McNamara | 2024 IL Bishop McNamara Twitter
Mr. Hamende is from Bishop McNamara, he played on JV as a Freshman this past spring where he showcased what he can do. What I like most about this young man is how he stays in front of his man playing through the whistle at the JV level. He stands at 6’2 220 with room to continue to hone his craft and develop further as he awaits his first Varsity craft.
These are the young men that are getting their first look at the rankings. They put in the hard work, developed their craft, and showcased what they can do during the spring season as well as at showcases/camps. This list is bound to expand as we journey on the 24’s high school careers and will continue to grow as we finish each season.
