Overview
As The Alabama High school Football Seasons begin we had the opportunity to meet with a great program out of Moundville, AL The Hale County Wildcats. Hale County Wildcats Has a ton of changes this year within a new coaching staff and new Head Coach, Mr. Luke Laird who plans to lead the Cats to victory this season. We had the pleasure of speaking with Head Coach Luke Laird to go more in depth with some serious key players within the program.
Linebacker: Malachi Pasteur, 6’1,200lbs
Malachi Pasteur is a class of 2022 linebacker who is a beast for the Hale County Defense. Pasteur has shown a lot of development throughout the years who has impacted the Wildcats defense tremendously. Malachi is very explosive coming down hill into the hole. He shows great change of speed in every moving aspect on the field with the intensity of making great plays. I have studied film on Malachi for years, he currently has an offer from Army and Interests from The University of Tennessee, Wake Forest, Austin Peay, and Harvard.
Defensive End: Braylon Wills, 6′,230lbs
This class of 2022 standout defensive end for the wildcats is a very off the radar sleeper for the Wildcats. This stud has every ability to be a D1 or D2 prospect from the size, strength, explosiveness, hands, IQ and mainly the grades. Wills has very aggressive speed and hands coming off the edge. He also makes plays on a pursuit running to the ball and making plays all over the field. I truly believe that this class of 2022 defensive end will be make a statement in Alabama 3A class.
Offensive Lineman: Devin Tingle, 6’5, 270lbs
This Stud is a monster! Trust me I have stood next to this offensive tackle and he is huge with long arms and massive hands. This 6’5 beast is very aggressive coming off the ball making key blocks for the wildcats. Tingle traces linebackers very well in stunt schemes when coming thru the gaps. He has developed great technique with his hands and feet over the course of the year. Tingle could be a standout tackle in class 3A where he will soon be in a position to get some big time offers
